Just grab it.
Great build quality. Works well, cheap and doesn't effect the sound negatively. Must buy for anyone needing a compact usbc to normal headphone / larger headphone jack.

Good starter DAC amp
I have started to get into listening to real good music, and converting the digital sound of streaming service to audio really maters. This is my first DAC amp, it was low price so I could start listening to audit files. This will not be my last, I am going to upgrade in the future but for now?

Pros and Cons
I'm quite new to the audiophile world and decided to buy the Truthear Hexas for my first iems. I needed a way to connect it to my phone and it shocked me how much better the sound quality became. Keep in mind, I don't know correct terminology but if I had to explain it and all the pros:• All the distinct sounds became amplified and clearwr and I could hear instrumentals on songs that I never heard before. This combined with an equalizer completely changed the Hexas from to be honest, a little boring, to having that oomph that I was looking to find in my audiophile journey.• It's simple to use, just plug it into your phone and at least, my phone recognized it as headphones and just plug your audio device.• It's also very small which is nice since it doesn't impact how I hold my phone and easy to store, thought that also does mean it can be easily lost so be careful.• For it's size, its metal casing so far seems very durable and I have accidentally dropped it while it was in my phone and nothing was damaged.• One of the easiest and somewhat inexpensive upgrades I have done, considering similar products can be double its price or even over $100.However, I have found a pretty major problem. The jack of my Hexas does not fit in the port of the dac/amp causing the sound to become distorted if it's not at the right distance. If it's not in enough the sound is quieter and more static but if I push it in all the way on the left iem produces audio. I found that the perfect distance is about 0.5 cm so I use a knife and ruler to carefully cut a 1 x 1 x 0.5 cm foam block to slide my jack into. This basically ensures that it stays the perfect distance but it still distorts if I twist the jack slightly.I will be getting new cables for my Hexas and will see if there is any difference but overall the pros far outweigh the cons. It's a listening experience I've never heard.

Good for Gaming
Definitely a noticeable difference in sound after using this. I use it for gaming and have no complaints.

Helped my Shure215 sound like how it's supposed to
I had purchased Shure 215 earbuds and had issues with background static and white noise. I tried to use another usb-c to aux adapter that didn't work. But this DAC adapter fixed it right away. The plug is also very secure to both my Samsung phone and the aux cord.

Great form factor, not so sure about the audio changes
Well, the form factor of this is amazing. I use it to avoid wear on my tablet. So, I hook a dock up to my tablet and this connects to the USB c port on the end of the dock. It is the perfect size so that it just feels like an extension of the dock, and doesn't get in the way. However, I spent all day listening to it, and I am not sold on the sound. I am paired with a simgot ea500, I tried an Aria 2. I compared to q cheapo jcally 2 dollar dac.So it definite makes things warmer, but it really removes a lot of texture for highs and lows, and bass. It makes a lot of things clean, but at the cost of the clarity and texture.I tried on M MACHINE, Celldweller clone, birthday massacre, fischerspooner, dark tranquility. So, I'm not sure if it's a good dac. I may update if I decide it's not good.

Shockingly good at the price
I purchased this mainly so that I could use my IEMs on the go with my smartphone and I am legitimately shocked at how good the quality is. The sole issue is that my phone's case was a bit too large for it so I switched to a slimmer case. (These days a beefed up case isn't really necessary as well so this was for the best.) Overall this is definitely a great purchase for those wanting better audio from their phone than what wireless can currently offer.
