Best dac
WHAT?!?!?? Pls just buy this if you're on the fence! I use iems, and I thought those by themselves were amazing! This Allegro mini enhances EVERY SINGLE instrument and sound in the song to the point of hearing different things after listening to the same song 1000 times! It makes every album you THOUGHT was good and let's your hear EVERY SINGLE THING they recorded in that booth! This was a mindblower for me! Stop with the ugreen dacs that are 20 and get this instead. Way better and WORKS WITHOUT PROBLEM AND WORKS THRU MY PHONE CASE! Incredible value and doesn't get hot. Connects thru my phone case too! It uses your phone's battery.

Exceptional DAC for $22!
I own several DACs, various price points, and this little guy is one of the better ones especially at the price point! I wanted a small DAC to attach to my iPhone and run Tidal from.Almost no static noise which was really surprising, and sounds exceptional paired with Sony MX5’s. I tried the Ugreen USB C to 3.5mm DAC cable as well, sound wise this blew that out of the water. Very good clarity, highs and mids are clear and great bass too.Slots straight in your iPhone (or other USB C device) and works straight out the box. Great value product, looks great and small enough to carry around in a pocket. It does drain your battery so make sure your device is fully charged before use!

Pros and Cons
I'm quite new to the audiophile world and decided to buy the Truthear Hexas for my first iems. I needed a way to connect it to my phone and it shocked me how much better the sound quality became. Keep in mind, I don't know correct terminology but if I had to explain it and all the pros:• All the distinct sounds became amplified and clearwr and I could hear instrumentals on songs that I never heard before. This combined with an equalizer completely changed the Hexas from to be honest, a little boring, to having that oomph that I was looking to find in my audiophile journey.• It's simple to use, just plug it into your phone and at least, my phone recognized it as headphones and just plug your audio device.• It's also very small which is nice since it doesn't impact how I hold my phone and easy to store, thought that also does mean it can be easily lost so be careful.• For it's size, its metal casing so far seems very durable and I have accidentally dropped it while it was in my phone and nothing was damaged.• One of the easiest and somewhat inexpensive upgrades I have done, considering similar products can be double its price or even over $100.However, I have found a pretty major problem. The jack of my Hexas does not fit in the port of the dac/amp causing the sound to become distorted if it's not at the right distance. If it's not in enough the sound is quieter and more static but if I push it in all the way on the left iem produces audio. I found that the perfect distance is about 0.5 cm so I use a knife and ruler to carefully cut a 1 x 1 x 0.5 cm foam block to slide my jack into. This basically ensures that it stays the perfect distance but it still distorts if I twist the jack slightly.I will be getting new cables for my Hexas and will see if there is any difference but overall the pros far outweigh the cons. It's a listening experience I've never heard.

An easy option for great sound on the go
Works great, sound quality is exceptional for the price. I love the 4.4mm balanced out. Only thing, I wish it had a low gain option, with sensitive IEMs the lowest volume setting on my iPhone was almost too much.

Just grab it.
Great build quality. Works well, cheap and doesn't effect the sound negatively. Must buy for anyone needing a compact usbc to normal headphone / larger headphone jack.

Great form factor, not so sure about the audio changes
Well, the form factor of this is amazing. I use it to avoid wear on my tablet. So, I hook a dock up to my tablet and this connects to the USB c port on the end of the dock. It is the perfect size so that it just feels like an extension of the dock, and doesn't get in the way. However, I spent all day listening to it, and I am not sold on the sound. I am paired with a simgot ea500, I tried an Aria 2. I compared to q cheapo jcally 2 dollar dac.So it definite makes things warmer, but it really removes a lot of texture for highs and lows, and bass. It makes a lot of things clean, but at the cost of the clarity and texture.I tried on M MACHINE, Celldweller clone, birthday massacre, fischerspooner, dark tranquility. So, I'm not sure if it's a good dac. I may update if I decide it's not good.

Good starter DAC amp
I have started to get into listening to real good music, and converting the digital sound of streaming service to audio really maters. This is my first DAC amp, it was low price so I could start listening to audit files. This will not be my last, I am going to upgrade in the future but for now?
