Should have been included with the cello instead of the metal stand, fragile
The NS Design electric cellos are the only ones I am aware of for which you have to buy the End Pin Stand separately (for a cool $255 extra, more than what I paid for it at the time). The included tripod stand feels very unnatural, and should be the one that is sold separately, instead of the standard end pin stand with reference points.I ordered said End Pin Stand, and it arrived broken, which tells you something about the fragility/quality of this part (wood that can break more easily than with a normal cello, because of the way the reference point sticks out, personally I think it should be made of metal, like the included stand).Yes, Amazon graciously replaced the broken part, but it took two months to get back in stock before they could send it to me again.On my review of the NS Designs NS NXT5 Cello, Black , I indicated dissatisfaction with NS Design support, you may want to read what I wrote there.
