effectively we are paying extra to get the much better items to replace the flimsy parts supplied with the coffee maker

I bought this 'plus' kit with the standard Nano for camping trips. IMHO the 'plus' is pretty much essential and should really come as standard. I would also like to see a cheaper version with no water heating for those of us who drink milk coffees (in which case you're going to need a small stove/pan anyway). But the bottom line is it makes damn good coffee almost anywhere, and that's pretty special.

Fantastic. Allows you to have a proper coffee. BUT, this should absolutely be included with the main unit.

Filter basket lid came apart
It’s come apart after only 6 mths. The return window was only 4 weeks so I’m down £45. Brevoy do a very similar machine with identical extras and capabilities. I’ll probably buy one of those.

Must have accessory
This is essential for the outin nano. It’s much easier to use than the supplied portafilter.I used to find I spilled lots of coffee with the supplied set up. But this is much less messy and much more convenient if you drink doubles.I use 18g of ground coffee with this, works great.Bit more expensive that I’d like. It should really come as standard with the machine. But that aside. I’d recommend as an essential accessory
