Even though it’s labeled as Thompson’s Water Seal, this is actually the Purdy multi-tool scraper shown in the picture. Great tool with the usual high-quality you’d expect from Purdy. It’s sturdy, versatile, and well-made, making it good value for the quality. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable multi-tool.

Everyone should have one of these, yes they are a fantastic decorators tool but I know window fitters and other trades that have one of these, simply because they are so sturdy and practical for various jobs, even getting weeds out from between flags! If you've ever had to clean a paint roller by hand, running it under the tap, and breaking your heart every time you run it back under the tap and you get more blue, or red, or pink, or god forbid magnolia running out of it, then the roller cleaning part alone on these is worth it, they are the superhero of paint roller cleaning, you'll be using your roller on purpose just so you can clean it again with this! Actually, that last bit is a bit exaggerated but it is good.

My old paint scraper finally snapped and I decided to buy one of these—absolutely brilliant—strong / sturdy and really handy —would definitely recommend-you won’t be disappointed -!

A well thought out multipurpose tool not just for decorators. When working as a carpenter I always had a scraper in the tool bag. Bought this to remove the beading around a double glazing window panel. Did the job with no problems and is quite sturdy so no bending and sharp enough to get behind the beading without damaging it.

This is first time i buy a tool outside big brands like Dewalt, Stanley, milwaukee, bosch, makita and Bahco. I never heard purdy brand before. So very confused with Clauss painters tool. So, I ordered 2 models of clauss and Purdy (this one) to have feel of all 3 and choose the best one. I find Purdy tool much better build when compared to Clauss. So i retured both Clauss tool. I can confidently recommend Purdy painters tool to anyone.
