Hi Erin , this machine is very fast for make snow Ice. With ice load full Make ice in 30 seconds and reach to 10 snow cones.

Q: is it good enough to run a snowcone business with?

No, sir/ma'am its not. Because the glass is plastic, it heats up easily and your ice melts quickly. The unit is small so it doesn't shave much at a time, and the blade continues to get jammed. I bought mine for the same reason.
