Much better than cheaper car fridges. Wevehadtwo igloo which were $150 each, and they both failed quickly. My engineer husband says the cooling mechanism in this one is superior to those. We took it recently on a 5-day trip and it worked perfectly. It ran quietly. Tho I had bought an extension cord, this cord was long enough to reach from the back of our RAV4 to the back seat cigarette lighter jack. It is pretty heavy while empty and VERY heavy when loaded, so I was very glad to have wheels on it. It moves seamlessly from the car to our airbnbs, plugging into the wall to keep our food cool. All together, this is a wonderful car refrigerator. Highly recommended!

The EUHOMY Car Refrigerator performed beautifully, better than expected. However, it unfortunately arrived damaged during shipping, not the fault of EUHOMY. Customer Service was very easy to contact and very quick to respond. A replacement was shipped to us immediately and actually arrived quicker than the original. We cannot praise this company enough. As for the refrigerator, it is extremely quiet and dropped to below freezing in less than an hour with very low energy consumption. We needed more freezer space in our RV and this unit was exactly what we needed. Their outstanding customer service was an unexpected bonus! We will not hesitate to purchase from EUHOMY again in the future. Outstanding Company!

I checked the reviews for Euhomy refrigerators, before deciding on the one I purchased. Among different brands, prices for portable refrigerators vary widely. Euhomy models seemed to be among the lower priced models. Reviews indicated Euhomy made a quality RV refrigerators. So, I took a chance and bought one for using while camping. The top black color of it seems counter productive. Therefore, keeping it in the shade probably will keep it cooler. I plugged it in, inside my house, turned it on and placed a wireless temperature sensor inside. I set the "frig" to it's lowest setting. Within an hour, the inside temperature went down to 0 degrees! The "frig" was very quiet too. I'm pleased with its performance. This model came with wheels and I recommend anybody purchasing ANY large portable "frig", get it with wheels. When loaded up with food, you'll be glad you can roll the "frig" around, instead of always having to pick it up to move it from place to place! The top cover does have some play in it. In other words, the top lid can be lifted about a 1/8 inch, without pressing the release clamp. However, the lid does close totally around the entire "frig" top edge via its gasket, so I don't feel that's a big issue. The top lid is strong and you can sit on the lid if necessary. I weigh 220 lbs and the top cover didn't give at all when I sat on the top of the "frig" to see how strong it was. The cup holders in the top cover are a nice touch! The mobile phone app is a nice touch too!

I have had it 2 days. These are my observations.Pros: Works as advertised. Cooled to +5F from +70F in approximately 30 minutes with nothing in it. Display of interior temp is accurate to +/-1 degree per my remote thermometer. App works in Bluetooth mode.Cons: Lid hinges are very sloppy, lid gasket does not seal well leading to ice buildup inside cooler when humid and extra compressor cycling.Overall: Good buy, but you get what you pay for.I am not sending it back as it is not damaged and works well for the price point, however, I am replacing the lid gasket with a thicker high-density gasket that will actually seal it nearly air-tight when closed.

Works great. Use it as an extra fridge at my RV camp. Ran fine for 5 straight days, kept everything at 35 degrees. Great buy!

I've used the EUHOMY 80-QT (75 L) 12-volt refrigerator on several field trips, and it’s been rock-solid. Running off the truck’s 12 V socket all day, it kept everything at a steady 34 °F even in 90 °F heat, then plugged into a wall outlet to serve as a mini-fridge in my room at night. The cavernous 80-quart capacity easily holds a weekend’s worth of meals plus drinks, and the compressor stays surprisingly quiet. ECO/MAX modes are handy for saving battery or fast chilling.The only drawback is small but annoying: the barrel plug on the AC adapter brick fits loosely, so any tug on the cord can unplug it. A bit of painter’s tape or a right-angle pigtail fixes the issue, but a locking plug on the brick would make this fridge perfect.If you need a versatile cooler-turned-fridge for truck camping, field work, or dorm life, this model delivers just be ready to secure that AC connector.

The performance is good. It gets the temperature down quick and it can make it stay there. However, the compressor needs to cycle every 15 mins in ambient temp of 70F to achieve it. That means the insulation for this refrigerator is probably not very good. It is all plastic and it get heavy when it is fully loaded especially if you have a lot of drinks. I wouldn't trust the plastic handle. It is very roomy because not much insulations. It works well for trucker if they keep it inside all the time. It probably wouldn't do well under the sun or it will requires a lot of energy to keep the temp down.I have to return it because it has the dead fish smell that it will not go away.

Works great! Perfect for our long road trips. Cools quickly. I did get an extender for the plug because we have a full size van.
