Amazing!!!!
Truly an amazing 3D scanner that exceeds my expectations for the ideal best 3d scanning devices! The ease of use is fantastic - no computer connection required, operating it is as simple as using a camera. It's a huge improvement over any other 3D scanner I've purchased before. The all-in-one design is perfect for beginners. I've shown this 3D scanner to friends, and they can start scanning right away. Not needing a computer makes it so convenient. I hate how previous 3D scanners I bought could only be used with my graphics workstation. Having to move it back and forth was a big hassle. And I didn't want to buy a high-end laptop just for the scanning purpose. This best 3D scanner can handle small objects like screws and coins all the way up to very large equipment. It captures impressive detail and texture in every scan. The scanning speed is very fast, producing high accuracy 3D models even for complex objects. The precision is great - the strawberry scan I did came out looking amazing. I've been happy with the several Revopoint best 3D scanners I own, but the MIRACOR blows them away. The color reproduction is superb too - a 1 minute scan can capture a realistic person portrait. I often take it with me to scan large sculptures and machinery onsite. The portability makes it so easy to use.The software supports advanced point cloud/mesh editing functions like noise reduction, hole filling, mesh optimization etc., which impressed me a lot as well. One suggestion I have is to add cloud storage integration. That would make it convenient to access scanned data anytime, anywhere : )

Fun to use and detailed.
The Revopoint MIRACO 3D scanner is fun to use and picks up a lot of fine details. It's not huge so holding it one handed and to position / maneuver is easy. The features are awesome and the auto "one-tap edit" does a really good job and doesn't take an eternity. Just click it, set it down and wait a few minutes. You can open fusion, edit mesh and texture right from the big touch screen. You have the option to continually scan (basically record) or a snapshot option like you are taking a photo. Both work awesome and I can't see 3D scanning getting any easier than this.On the other hand, I gave it a 4 star because to send it to a pc is a paint in the butt. It plugs in with a c-port which is nice and fast, but for someone like me; a gamer, 3D editor and modeler among other things my c ports are used with external hard drives. But, that wont be everyone's problem, so with that aside it's not a simple plug in, auto detect and drop a file. You need their Revo scan 5 app, on their page under the app it gives you a list of their 3D scanners it supports and MIRACO isn't on it. It does support it though... But, like I said it isn't a simple drag and drop you have to sort through folders and and click random files till you find the one you want. I find it to be a pain, but it's one of those things once you figure it out it's much easier for future projects.I still love this thing, but a simplified version of files would be awesome.

Doesn't scan dark colors well.
After using this scanner for a few weeks I'm not impressed with its ability to track or to scan object that are darker in color. It's cool but just isn't powerful enough to be used in a professional setting.

Fantastic 3d scanner!
Camera is the best ever... I am new to 3D scanning and this scanner was easy to learn even for the beginner... With fantastic results.

Accurate, powerful, and portable
This 3D scanner is incredible. Other 3D scanners I've used previously have various tradeoffs. With other scanners, I can either scan tethered to a PC, or use my underpowered mobile phone. The MICRACO by contrast solves both of those problems. It includes everything needed to capture and process 3D images right on the device using its built in touch screen. There is a learning curve to using the scanning software, but since I was familiar with the process of 3D scanning, it didn't take me long to catch on.I tested this out with a Kirby figurine. The scanner captured it well. I love that it was not only able to capture the geometry of the figure, but also its texture. I played around with the model on the scanner, but decided to transfer it to my PC to finalize it. The Revo Scan 5 software made it easy to import the scanned point cloud. From there, I was able to clean, merge, and mesh the various point clouds. In the end, I was able to get a manifold model of the figurine. I was so impressed with the reconstructed object that I exported it and printed it with my 3D printer. The results were stunning. The printed figure was almost identical to the original figure. One interesting feature of the screen is that it folds out. I wasn't sure what the purpose of this was, so I took a 3D selfie of my face. I was impressed with how well it was able to capture my features including my dark hair. This opens up a lot of possibilities. To see how far I could push this scanner, I tried scanning a shiny toy car that had black wheels. The scanner was unable to capture this without the use of scanning spray. That being said, I found this scanner to be far more capable than any other scanner I've used. This is now an essential part of my makerspace.
