This product was questionable to me
I wanted to use batana oil because although I have always had hair fall out when I’m in the shower it seems like there’s way more that comes out than usual the older I get. I was disappointed to find that the ingredients doesn’t say “batana oil” in particular. It says Pure “American” Palm Nut Kernal Oil (Elaeis oleifera). So also this is not from Honduras. So if you go by the pictures on the Amazon site, it is a little deceiving to me, but if you scroll and look at the description it does say it is made in the USA.Because of all the good reviews, I wanted to give this a try. I mixed globs of this with some coconut oil to get through my hair more easily. While I was doing this a lot of my hair was being pulled out, but I assume it’s hair that was going to come out anyways eventually, but idk if this was considered normal. I left it in with the shower cap on for about an hour and 30 minutes. My scalp was burning up a little bit, but I kept it on anyways which was my decision. There is a caution label on there that says discontinue use if irritation occurs. So after my shower, my hair was a little better. I use fragrance free products. I put some leave-in-conditioner and hair food oil in my hair afterwards. And my hair is alright, not bad, but not great. It was not what I was expected. I’m literally looking for astonishing results where I can say my hair is so soft and nourished and I don’t think I can say that with this. So far my hair feels more thin, just not so full, but I think that’s just because of the process I just did and I think if I use real batana oil over time, my hair could get fuller, but it’s still kind of softer and nicer though. Anyways, I don’t think I’m going to use this anymore. I want real “batana oil” from “Honduras” that I can be sure about.
