I received the order without packaging and it’s been used so dusty and dirty and I even found a press nail with it 🤮🤢 so disgusting also the original packaging was damage not recommended buying this product 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

My hair looks like Ross Poldark’s hair (Mr. Turner’s). That was my first impression when I styled my bangs with this curler. It looks like his, but without any corkscrew curls. My bangs fan out and look kind of frizzy, but it’s really, really unusually humid here, so that may be why. It feels like maybe I need to practice more or at least there is some kind of learning curve even though it seems so simple (though I did figure out how to curl the ends by just using a side of it). Or maybe it was just the humidity, but that won’t change for while, so there’s not much I can do about that.The temperature settings are in Celsius! Isn’t that strange? They are:180 degrees Celsius = 356 degrees Fahrenheit210 degrees Celsius = 410 degrees FahrenheitSo I guess it’s a bit hot for people with fine hair. The 180 setting is for normal, and the 210 is for thick hair, probably? Well, according to what I learned from another curling iron, which could be wrong.What’s in the Box?1. Instructions2. Curling IronAt fifteen minutes, I could touch it for four seconds, but it was too hot to put away. At 20 minutes it was warmer than room temperature, but I could leave it on my bed with me next to ti. I guess I could’ve put it away at this point, but I’m extra careful. It makes sense it takes longer to cool than other curling irons because the heated area is so much larger.The barrel is that rubber coated suede like plastic that feels so nice. I like that the cord is the swivel kind so that it won’t get all tangled and twisted. The light turns on when you push the silver button to a heat setting. It doesn’t blink or do anything different. I don’t know how to tell if it was at the right heat or not. I got tired of waiting for it to do something different. It’s quite heavy (1lb and 3.8 ounces! Wow!), and top heavy at that! It was a bit harder to maneuver than other ones, but I mean, look at it! It’s so big! The barrels are very smooth and my hair didn’t catch at all, but the clamp still holds securely. I love the silver crown on the handle.I think I like it, but I don’t love it. I’m not a strong person and it’s easier to use a smaller lighter curling iron even if it takes longer, but this one sure gets a lot waved/crimped at once!P.S. You won’t get the curls of the girl in the first product picture and the tiny icon shots for choosing the color on this product page as of this writing. She has spiraling curls and this curler cannot do that.

This crimper iron works well and has a bit of weight to it. It has two temperature settings and the handle is a soft silicone and easy to hold. It gives you nice, beachy waves pretty fast, and they last for hours.

I have about 23 inches of fairly thick hair. It takes forever with traditional 2-3 barrel crimpers, but with this I can be done in about 10 min or less! It is my favorite! And I get tons of compliments whenever I do my hair this way. I am 41, but I don't think I am too old for mermaid hair!!!

I have used many different crimping style irons and this one works really well. It literally took less than 10 minutes start to finish. I do recommend setting it on a high heat protection mat etc because as in the photo you can see very barrel heavy.
