superb pole for Velux
Excellent, robust pole. Easy to extend. Bought for very large high velux windows. was worried they would not cope with the height and the weight of extra large windows. Not a bother opening and shutting. Coped with ease.

Easy to use
Works really well. Easy to extend and to use. A good replacement for the inadequate pole that I had previously been using. Even when extended it is still sturdy. The first one I received was very difficult to shorten again once extended, it seemed to be catching somewhere. I sent it back and the replacement works well. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Great pole.
This was to replace the old pole which had broken at the top where you clip into the bar to pull open the velux windows. This is more sturdy & is better than the original one from Velux. You can also buy the clip at the top separately if you need to get another one. Great pole overall.

A superior window pole
I am absolutely delighted with this pole. So much better than our last one. It's much stronger and the hook at the end is covered to protect the window bar which was scratched to bits by the old one. It also operates the blinds well.

Locking Instruction Missing
The instructions tell you how to open and close the Velux window but it doesn’t tell you how to lock it. Pushing up at 90 degrees won’t lock the window no matter how hard you push. You have to go back to 45 degree angle (as you did when opening the window) and then push from there. The hook that screws in came a little loose and the extension of pole felt a little loose but I will know more over the course of time whether that’s a problem or not. I’ve retightened the hook.Overall it seems a useful tool though, and once we figured out the operation of locking ourselves I’m able to open and close the velux.
