I love these for cleaning my firearms. I also found other uses for them, so i will be buying more.

These brushes are great for those hard to reach areas. great for scraping, cleaning, and gunsmithing.

Huge quality of life improvement for cleaning equipment.While I would not say that these picks are "necessary" for any cleaning job, I will say that they go a long ways towards supplementing an already solid cleaning kit: they do a REALLY great job of getting at those hard to reach places where I would otherwise spend a lot more time with substantially-less effectiveness (nooks and crannies, star-chambers, etc.).If you don't yet have any cleaning supplies for your equipment and can only afford one cleaning kit, this is NOT it (you really need to get yourself something that will clean barrels, etc.).However, if you already have a solid cleaning kit and are looking to vastly improve your quality of life while cleaning/maintaining, this is a solid purchase. I have purchased extras for my brother to supplement his woefully inadequate kit and it seems to have improved his regimen (and...if it's easier to clean...it's more likely to get cleaned).

I've got a ton of gun cleaning tools, picks, brushes, et al - just like lots of gun guys. This particular set, though, is the one I always end up using ever since I got it a few months ago. I have other Real Avid stuff, and I like it, too, so when I saw this set I decided to grab it - glad I did.The plastic/poly tools are flexible but strong, and are far safer than metal (even brass) tools when scrubbing down a rifle or pistol. I can really apply pressure to break up stuck-on carbon while not worrying about scratching the finish of my guns. The brushes are nylon and bronze-phosphor, which is pretty standard (for a reason).There are enough similar tools in this kit that I divided the tools up, 3 and 3, and took one 'set' to my workbench in the basement, while leaving the other 'set' up where my other guns are usually located. The entire kit is cheap enough that you can buy two, stick one away in a drawer someplace, and have a backup in case, God forbid, your tools are eventually broken/lost.Real Avid keeps on getting my personal business because they (for the most part) make practical tools that are reliable and strong enough to hold up. I'd buy again in a second, w/o a doubt.

Ok not what item is sold for but I'm always thinking outside the box. These are ideal for what I wanted and was looking for. Also their size makes them easy to grasp and the variety of ends are ideal for different purposes. I may use the stiffer brushes more for actual detail cleaning grout etc. around the home than for the purpose of helping weed vinyl designs but so far great tools and not just for gun cleaning. I did have to smooth one end as it had a bit of plastic mold still on it but not a problem.

A little pricey, but all Real Avid stuff tends to be....that being said, Real Avid products also tend to be high quality, and these are no different.I’ve used these on both AR15’s and multiple pistols. They’re strong and work exactly as expected, with lot’s of options. Great for cleaning hard to reach and small places on firearms and other similar items. I bought 2. One for me and the 2nd for a Christmas present.

Clever design. Instead of the crappy round handles that are difficult to grip these guys came up with triangular shaped handles that make them easier to use. The material is also a lot harder than the other wimpy plastic picks, so it pulls the carbon out better. I'm not going to go near my gun with metal picks, so I've been looking for the best plastic picks I could find. I think I just found them.The angled brush does a great job inside some tough to reach places. There are both nylon and metal bristles, so you can either get rough with the gunk or gentle. Great set of tools for a fair price.

Exactly what I have been needing. I use tooth picks to get in the nooks and crannys. They worked perfect for what I wanted to do. The tips are stout, but not indestructible. Used properly they should last a good amount of time. The tips allowed me to clean much better than the tooth picks ever did. I like the different brushes that are included. Very nice spectrum of material. Again, they allowed me a higher level of clean than my normal brush.

Better quality than others I’ve seen that are too flexible. Good value for the cost.

It's a basic set of picks and brushes with some handy angles and shapes. Gets into places and digs out the crud. They seem pretty sturdy. Put a nice hole in my palm when I fumbled one and sorta flinched trying to recover it. So, it stabs pretty well, too.

Not much to say. These dental picks are inexpensive. Seem pretty durable. Will not scratch your guns. Great addition to my cleaning kit.

These picks are sturdier and longer lasting than the black picks I had before.
