Fast small printer with klipper
The X-Smart 3 is a good entry level printer. I have used it so far for printing in PLA+ and ABS+ (currently have 40 Hr on the printer)The printer works well out of the box an there is very little configuration before your up and printingThe new QidiDlicer looks to be a modifies version of Prusa slicer and works well also works well and has printer profiles in OrcaSclicerWhen the printer arrived the controller board fan was a little loud but I contacted Qidi Customer service and they supplied a quieter controller fan that helped (cannot fault there customer support E-ailed with the issue and next day they had dispatched the new fan)The printer is fast, I also have a Prusa mini and the speed difference is noticeable and the print quality is as good if not betterThe prints that have been produced areThe printer is running Klipper firmware which allows for some customisation if you wish and provided a web interface to manage / control the printer(You should be able to type in the IP of your printer into a web browser followed by ":10088", for example: 192.168.1.10:10088 to access)If you looking for a small fast Core XY printer the Qidi x-smart3 is worth consideringThe printer isn’t silent but printing but this is a trade off with highs peed printing

Best 3d printer I ever had
We've acquired two other 3D printers and unfortunately, they left us disappointed with their print quality. Unwilling to invest another £300 to £400 in a printer that overpromised and underdelivered, we turned to researching Qidi's line of 3D printers, which boasted positive user reviews. Opting for the X-Smart model at £300, seemingly their entry-level option, we were pleasantly surprised. Despite our attempts with the M3D printers, they couldn't produce a satisfactory circle. However, the Qidi X-Smart effortlessly printed a perfect circle using the same file. This success has left me thrilled.Setting up the printer was a breeze. Following an unboxing video on YouTube immediately after ordering, I knew what to expect. From cutting the first packing strap to initiating the first print, the process took about 90 minutes. A notable feature we appreciate is the ability to print directly from a USB thumb drive, eliminating the need to tie up our computer. The software caters to both PC and Mac users, which is especially convenient since my daily computer is a Mac. Although the thumb drive was missing from the printer package, I easily downloaded the software from Qidi's website, causing no real issues. While the printer included filament, we opted to use our existing Hatchbox filament. The LCD screen displays key information about the ongoing print, such as the item being printed, estimated time, completion percentage, and remaining time. I plan to update this review after more extensive use, but as of now, it deserves a solid 5-star rating.

Easy to use. Support quick to respond.
Bought this after a recommendation from an expert user. Was easy to set up and had a first print quite quickly. From a friend's experience with a similar machine, this seems to be a very quick printer. However it has now started playing up. The printer head vibrates loudly when moving and will not easily move manually on the x-axis. Contacted QIDI support who were quick to respond. They suggested cleaning the rods and extruder, then sent a new motherboard, then a new adapter board, and lastly a type-c cable. Unfortunately the problem remains so I am now waiting for a reply from my last email.Edit:The problem is now fixed. Turns out I needed to clean the carbon rods multiple times using alcohol. I thought I had cleaned them enough the first time but they need to be spotless. With each clean the extruder movement improved until I was able to move it around easily.

Terrible printer and company. Left with a dead printer and no support
This printer hasn’t worked since February, and now won’t power on. I’ve lost my money to a company who won’t reply to mails, and have a brick instead of a functioning, 8 month old printer. Please don’t buy their products, take any other brand than this

Qidi exceeds expectations
The media could not be loaded. My second qidi printer (I also have the xplus2) and this little printer is a super speedy machine. The price is excellent and setup is straightforward. The qidi support team are also great if you have any issues. So far I have printed with PLA and PETG using the default settings either in qidi print or qidi slicer software.

Nice way of easing yourself into 3D printing!
Very competitively priced (I paid ~ £250 for it), and works quite well. As with most 3-D printers. you do need to mess with it a little bit, but everything is fairly straightforward (and comes mostly pre-assembled!), and QIDI's customer support is quick and helpful.I like the fact that it has a reasonably small footprint, since I use it at home - but it still has a decent build volume (175x175x175 mm^3).
