When I plugged in to a 2003 Audi, I was surprised that it did an auto VIN to read the ECU which my previous dongle didn’t do where I had to search manually.The device is very well-built and sturdy, and it feels like a professional tool. It comes with a one-year free software update, which is a nice bonus. The app is easy to use and navigate, and it provides clear and detailed information. The device and the app work together seamlessly, and the Bluetooth connection is fast and stable using my Samsung Android phone. With the tool it found that the status LED light very useful which showed the power, bluetooth connectivity and a status/communications light.One thing to note is that when you plugin in the device to a vehicle, you will need to download the corresponding vehicles database/packages to the app which did take around 15 minutes on my connection.I think this is a fantastic OBD2 scanner for the money and the features. It does more than my previous dongle I used to use and it helps me save money and time on repairs in the longrun. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do their own car diagnostics and maintenance or even understand faults that arise on vehicles before they take to a garage.I will keep reviewing this on other makes and models and see how I get on with those. I will update this review where required.

This is a great piece of Kit. It works very well and I am very pleased with this. Really easy to use and is very accurate with any issue it detects in cars, would highly recommend.

I've had this for a couple months now. Overall, for the money, extremely well impressed with it!It has some little quirks and nuances, sometimes when using the base functions like electronic parking brake, it'll give an error, but if you go into the ABS/ESP module and clear any outstanding faults, it will then usually work. Sometimes just restarting the software on your phone again also helps.The device is very, very slow to use, and this is on a flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, so it's unlikely the phone holding it back. The full system scans usually take about 5-7 minutes to complete. HOWEVER, this is a very, very cheap way into a full system scanning device, and is actually impressive when considered fully like that.The device is fairly easy to use, but experience with scan tools is ideal as all different scan tools have different personalities, this one is just awkward sometimes when running through multiple systems. The live-data readouts are also a little bit of an annoyance as you can't specifically select what you want, you have to select something you're trying to check (Smooth running operation of the fuel injectors for example, even though you only want to see the high pressure fuel rail pressure.)It's VERY durable. Very. It's metal and plastic, and the metal itself is also the heatsink for the circuitry inside, so if it feels warm to the touch after use, don't be alarmed as that's totally normal. When holding it, it feels remarkably solid, and has a nice weight to it, so it's obviously crammed with quite lot inside - that or it's got a lead weight in it. Regardless, I was very impressed with the fit and finish. As for the application itself, it is slow. But, it seems to at least competently do it's function and I've never gone through a process and had it crash mid-way through.Overall, I've been very impressed. I can't bring myself to give it the full 5 stars as it is painfully slow, the live data information is clunky and awkward to get access to and the application's "diagnostic" page can sometimes freeze for 10-20 seconds randomly, which doesn't matter for 95% of people, but when I'm trying to work through a job, it's quite important that I can quickly work through multiple vehicle systems. Overall, a solid 4.5/5 from me, which I was insanely surprised about as I expected to give it a 2/5 before I got hands on with it.

Great bit of kit. I use this along side my snap-on diagnostics as just a mobile unit. Works well and does alot that I need it to. Its accuracy is as ok concidering the cost, does have the issue of not picking the vehilce VIN up at times and you will have to enter the VIN manualy. Other then that I would recomend to any mobile mechanic as a back up or quick scan tool that can do much more.

Great item and well worth the money. Was expecting a flimsy plastic piece of equipment for the price but it was metal cased and solid to hold. Quick connect, app is very easy to use and this can do everything my my touchscreen reader can do. Bought this to have handy in the car permanently and it’s been spot on when I’ve used it.If you’re after a cheaper scanner that’s portable and still gives you everything a bigger scanner would then this is perfect. Buy it!

Wow what a spectacular rip off. The product itself is fine, although no beter than a £10 one! It's what happens after your year is up, if you want to use it again it'll now cost you another $49.99, and you can't use it unless you pay up, the device wont update and your downloads are gone. I'm not complaining that they cant charge for software updates but if you dont want or need them, removing your access to the old version that you'd previoulsy downloaded and paid for is, as I said to start with, a rip-off.
