Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG HSM Lens for Sigma

Lens is exactly as I expected it to be. Works very well on my sd Quattro H and can be converted to most other mounts if I ever want to change.

Very sharp lens at all focals;Ideal for mix work including portrait @105mm, std 50mm and walk around wide angle up from 24 mm.Very performant OS optical stabilization, as usual from Sigma.Size and weight contributes perfectly to the DSLR body handling and balance

Ottimo obbiettivo, completamente in linea con le mie aspettative. Uno stop di apertura in più sarebbe stato benvenuto, ma sarebbero anche totalmente aumentati dimensioni e pesi. Qualità Sigma, senza compromessi e messa a fuoco che non ha necessitato di "aggiustamenti".Per quanto riguarda la spedizione: mi è arrivato due giorni prima del previsto

Scrivo questa recensione dopo 6 mesi di utilizzo. L'ho acquistato per la mia Sigma sd quattro come complementare al mio 18-35 Art. L'ho scelto come alternativa al 50-100 che costa (e pesa) oltre il doppio. Come noto, è limitato alla massima apertura di f4, che tra l'altro è inutilizzabile visto il forte decadimento che presenta. Tuttavia facendone un utilizzo paesaggistico (prevalentemente in montagna) riesco a sfruttare (con una buona luce) un f8 e 1/100 - 1/150" a 100 ISO ottenendo delle ottime prestazioni. Lo stabilizzatore è un grande aiuto. Direi di essere soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Allego una foto come esempio.

On the SDQ-H, this lens (at least the copy I had) was far (as in F-A-R) from being able to resolve the sensor. My 18-50mm F2.8 does quite a bit better both in cropped (APS-C) and uncropped (APS-H) modes. I was surprised to see how poor it was, really, as I am a big fan of Sigma products. I mean this is a full frame lens, it should have no problem with APS-H, but this was bordering on pathetic.
