Nice quality but the 2 in rubber peace is not stiff like the OEM, which causes hood to bounce while driving , not good

At first I was happy. The latch did in fact hold down the hood tighter than the old stretched latches that I assume were original. However, after about a week I noticed the left side of the lower pin was missing. The pin is apparently made of a metal sleeve held in place by a plastic pin and plastic end caps snapped into place. To immediately fix my problem I removed what remained of the plastic pin (the metal sleeve was missing) and replaced with a stainless bolt/washer/locknuts. I went ahead and did the same to the other side that had not broken, yet. Overall, I sort of like the look of the stainless bolts and the knowledge that it is secure. BTW you must use nylon locking nuts and a bolt long enough to penetrate the nut without overtightening. If you tighten too much the hinge will squeeze the rubber latch and it will not pivot. Not too much, not too little. However, all my effort was required due to the need to fix a defective product. For that reason, one star is the best I can offer.
