Great educational toy!
My 7 month old loves this toy. There is so much you can do with it and it will keep on giving as he gets older. Love that each shape is a rattle! And that only the right shapes fit in their holes!

Lovely item, well made
I love how there are different sides to this for different experiences for your baby depending on their level of development, so you get plenty of use out of it. My son has first enjoyed learning how to get his hands through the strings to retrieve the blocks as he's not yet old enough to be working out which block goes in which hole. It's really well made and seems very durable.

Attractive,, very colourful, sturdy looking toy
What for my cousin’s baby? They seem delighted with it. I like the fact it wasn’t just plastic - Made out of wood with plastic inserts. Would recommend.

Fun wooden toy for little ones to explore and interact with
The media could not be loaded. This is a sturdy wooden cube that comes with eight wooden geometrical shaped pieces. The eight pieces are all different shapes and colours and are hollow with something inside so when you shake them, they rattle. Two of the sides of the cube are solid wood with holes cut out to match each of the shapes so little ones can explore and experiment matching and ’posting’ the different shapes into the correct holes. The other sides of the cube are open but have cords of coloured elastic across them; some straight lines, some crisscrossed. The toddler can experiment with squeezing the shapes through the gaps between the elastic, or putting their hands through to grab the shapes and pull them out again. All simple but fun things for young ones to experiment and practice at.The toy is constructed of solid, chunky wood with smooth surfaces and bright painted colours. Once all the shaped pieces are inside the cube, it can be tidily stored away. It feels sturdy and, being made of wood, it gives it that little bit of class.

wooden shape sorter
I love wooden toys as they are so much more traditional and last a lot longer than the plastic equivalent. This is a well made wooden sorting toy.The cube has bright elastic strips on 4 sides where the different wooden shapes can be pushed in and pulled out, a simple activity but one that toddlers really enjoy doing. The other 2 sides are wooden with different shaped holes. There are colourful wooden blocks that need to be matched to the holes. The wood is smooth with no rough edges. This is a really lovely toddler toy that is well made and the cube doubles up as a storage container for the different coloured shapes. However I’ve deducted a star from the review as I feel its a little bit expensive, RRP is £24.99, even with the 15% off voucher its still over £21.

Lovely wooden shape sorting toy with added noises on the shapes
I have seen and ordered these in plastic, but I really do think we should all be moving away from plastic. Lovely to see one of these in wood. This comes with 8 shapes, each shape has a set of beads somewhere in the middle so you get an extra sensory experience during play. The rattle is subtle so not annoying to hear in the background. The shapes are all painted a different colour, so you can teach shape and colour. Increasing language development. They can be slotted into the holes for shape recognition, like a vertical puzzle or poked through the variety of strings. The bands come in two versions, one will be harder to push the shapes through than the other and this will strengthen little hands for life skills to come - like writing, feeding themselves. You need big motor skills first, then small motor skills ...The wooden edges are rounded and the item is not just glued, there are a couple of screws on each corner, to use a technical term they have been countersunk, so they are not sticking out in anyway. It comes in a gift box, so this is a very exceptionally giftable item.I really liked this toy. Much better than the plastic versions, try to go for the wooden version if you can afford it!
