Great Product!

My band plays every week and we rotate to different locations to not upset our neighbors with constant barrage of noise. Like most I was using standard Zildian cymbals with a LUDWIG 5 piece natural not baffled. To lower sound levels I purchased these from advice from another musician. These sound phenomenal and are a great product. I purchased the silver cymbal pack. Love them and would buy them again. Great quality.

SONICAKE vs. The Big Guys? No brainer!

I was looking for a low volume alternative to standard cymbals. I needed them for full-band practice in a smaller space. I debated for a long time on whether to spend $630 on the Zildjian L80's, or even $375 on the Sabian version. I knew I wanted 14" HH, 16, 18, 20 configuration. My main goal was to cut cymbal volume in order to keep the rest of the band's volume in check as we can get loud sometimes (lol). I wasn't looking for a set to use at quiet gigs or focused on perfect sound quality, just decent. With all that in mind, I decided to see what $75 would get me. I ordered the SONICAKE set in stainless steel shiny sliver finish.I have not done a side by side comparison of these vs. the big guys. But the sound from these is just what I was looking for. Consderably lower volume and sustain - less than half volume for sure. No overtones to build up and bounce around the space (did I mention we could be a bit loud sometimes?). I could even see using the crash cymbals at a low volume gig.Are they perfect? No. The Hi Hats are a little trebley. But they play like Hi Hats, with a strong pedal chick. The ride plays nicely and emulates a big ride pretty well. The bell is not as differentiated as a normal ride. But, hey, $75! I'll take the extra money I would have spent on the L80's and buy a decent used snare, or a crappy used practice kit. You get the idea.If you are on the fence, get off it and pull the trigger. Unless you need to have the big Z on your gear, then go for it. I am a huge Zildjian guy and always will be. But the value on these is just too good for me to recommend anything else. Do it!

Ok for practice use

The media could not be loaded. The product has good sound quality is it’s OK I’m not a professional drummer, but I am a drummer. I mean I like it. They are flimsy compared to most symbols so it’s not hard. There are more for rehearsal not performance, not live stream or live shows. A very good deal on price for $67. The 14-inch crash and the 16-inch crash sounds pretty good. The high hats suck sound. Overall average product. The cymbals are very pretty when coming out of the pack. The Cymbals feel flimsy and easy to crack.

SONICAKE Low Volume Cymbal Pack

These perform exceptionally well for practice. They have a much cleaner sound then my $300 Zildjian low volume cymbal set. I wished I would have known of these sooner. Great price, fast shipping. I use the Zildjian with triggers for my electronic set. I have an acoustic set with internal triggers.

Nice Sound And Feel

I really enjoy using these. The sound is really pleasant and musical, and they blend well together as a set. I see no reason to spend the high price to get Sabian or Zildjian low-volume cymbals when these are an option. In fact, I am one of the many out there who think that these sound even better than the ones from the major manufacturers.Highly recommended.

Innovative

Low volume cymbals are a brilliant innovation for working drummers who play small venues and intimate gigs. I have been playing in a small group consisting of acoustic guitars and keyboard. Previously I’ve limited myself to using snare, bass drum and ride and use mostly brushes and broomsticks. I recently bought a set of these Sonicake cymbals and couldn’t be happier with them.I’ve been using the hats, 18” & 20” and man they are great. They have opened up more opportunities to play musically without being harsh sounding. I can “lay into” them to provide accents as well as more subtle basic time keeping. What I first saw as a practice tool I now see as a major innovation for drummers who play in quieter situations. Of course I highly recommend them.

I love these cymbals!

Nice chicka chicka, and low volume compared to the regular cymbals! Only thing, they are stick eaters with especially 5A, even with taping them up with surgical tape. I like them and would recommend over Zildjians, which are 4 times the price. Don’t mind buying cheap sticks for practice
