Good replacement for straps.

It appears to be durable and sturdy vinyl. I love it but the rivets were not good and broke.

These straps will return the outdoor furniture that you were about to throw away back to service. They have videos that make it look pretty easy, but you really have to stretch them and it takes some efforts. I used them to repair a deck lounge chair and now I’ll have ten more years of use at a quarter the cost of replacing it.

I was able to repair the chairs I had and the results worked but I was unable to stretch the straps very much after heating, I am a woman but I don't think it made any difference. I was able to wrap one side double wrapped but the other single wrapped. The fasteners were way too big but I was able to use the old ones. I wouldn't buy this again.

Measured and cut straps then, placed in hot water for a few minutes, to make them easy to stretch.If you want them tight, they have to be cut slightly shorter than actual measurements.

Very easy to replace worn out chairs. Google a video, follow the directions & works perfect!

Just want to thank some other reviewers for the tips on installing these straps and here to pay it forward.When I first opened the package I was so disappointed and was ready to return. The straps are thick and rigid, I thought there’s no way my small hands can stretch these. I tried using a blow dryer and nothing happened.However, I then took a large metal mixing bowl and filled it with freshly boiled water from a kettle. I immersed the straps in the water for a few minutes and voila, the straps were super soft and pliable. Installation was easy!Another poster wrote cut 10% off. The length I needed was 29”, I cut to 26”. In hindsight I could have cut to 25.5” for a tighter band.The water needs to be super hot, so for 9 straps, it took me 4x of boiling the kettle. You have to work really fast so I was only able to out on 2-3 straps at a time.Afterwards they remained soft and hardened over night in the cooler weather so it’s not like you can put them on them sit on them right away.Overall I’m happy with my purchase so far. I hope my review can help others with installation.

I had never done this before and had to reheat one of the straps twice and wrecked a couple of the clips. So work quickly and the end result is great! There are some very helpful Youtube videos.

This strapping is quite thick but once heated in boiling water for 5 minutes was easy to install. I did a few pieces on 4 different chairs and only complaint is there were no instructions. Found a YouTube video that walked me threw it. If doing it first time, make sure to have help to stretch as it, needs to be cut 10% shorter than the length you measure. Example -measure 30 inches cut to 27 inches then stretch it until it is in place. You need to get the rivets into the holes and stretch quickly to make this work. A heat gun is a big help.
