How loud is it when running? Noticeably louder than a shop vac? Wondering if I should install it in a separate room.
Can this be mounted to the wall?
Can you reroute 4" hose to a drum than back to the filter bag?

Best Dust Collector for the buck

I have used this dust collector for two months. Assembly: no problem, sort screws and you will know where they go. I did change the wheels but make sure to get locking wheels. This unit has a powerful fan with great suction. I produce 25 - 30 gallons of sawdust every two weeks so I feel confident in saying this will keep up with the more expensive models. The wiring just needs to be on a different circuit than the power tool you are using and you will have no problems. Best Dust Collector for the buck.

works well

I only run one machine at a time, but with hose gates it works very wellPlease note that it will gather saw dust as the tool runs, but will not vacuum up existing saw dust inside the toolI don't use it as a shop vac replacement to protect the impeller blades from things that end up on my floor (screws etc.)be careful on the large hose that runs from the blower to the collection bag. It is easily puncturedsmall enough to fit in between tools so it does not take up lots of spaceon/off switch could be more reachable, but it is still easy to usenice to be able to run on 120 v, put it on a different circuit that the other 120 v tools so I've never had an issue

I'm impressed. this sucker can suck

this thing is easier on the ears than my 5 gal shop vac.it moves a lot of air. no dust escapes my table saw now. there was a note it should be used on a 25 amp circuit breaker due to start up, so i tested it. the highest reading i got was 18 amps, but only for a split second. running amps is 8.6. a 20 amp breaker will easily handle this. the rods that hold in the filter assy. are bit flimsy in my opinion, but they work just fine.i wasn't expecting much for the price, as i have spent more than this on shop vacs over the last few years.this is well worth the money. it impressed me, which isn't easy to do.

Hooked up to a CNC

The media could not be loaded. I had been using a wall mounted unit for dust collection- and this kicks its butt. The suction is good enough for my needs. MDF dust always use to escape my collection unit but not on this beast. The directions were not that terrible. They could of given a chart of the screw sizes but other than that no issues. Images were big and I wear glasses. So over all very happy with this purchase. In the directions it does mention you can buy replacement bags on the manufacture website. Bags were of a good quality- very thick. Ill be re-using mine and dumping the dust into lawn bags. The delivery from amazon was next level. The driver brought it up to my garage. Nice work WEN on this item- it is solid.

Works good.

This seems to work great for me. I don't have a dedicated wood working shop so nice to be able to roll araound to which ever piece of equipment I am using. On the equipment that is a pain to get hose on I bought extra hoses and just leave them hooked up on the equipment and disconnect for vacuum. Overall noise level is not that bad form this. Wish it would have came with at least 1 extra bag.

There might be blood

For the price this is a good machine. A little noisy but it does what it's supposed to do. The only trouble I had with assembly was the metal bands that serve to hold the filter and collection bags in place are thin enough to be sharp on the edges, so when you are trying to wrestle them around the cylinder you can get cut, which I did. Other than that all the parts were there and the instructions are fairly straight forward. One comment would be to attach the handle to the cylinder before attaching the bags. The instructions have you attaching the handle after the bags, which requires you to remove the filter bag to attach the handle. I also took the time to lay out all of the screws, bolts and nuts, grouping them by their size. Made things allot easier as well as gave me the opportunity to make sure all the components were there in the proper count. One other note, and maybe I missed this somewhere in the description, but there is a label on the motor assembly that says you should be running the machine through a 25 amp or larger breaker. Well I don't have anything larger than 20 but it seems to work fine with the table saw and the dust collector running at the same time. Might be a problem down the road but I didn't feel like hiring an electrician to run a separate line.

I wanted to upgrade my dust collection from a shop vac. After much research I felt this was the best buy for the money. I was correct. This is awesome. I've very pleased with the value for the dollars spent.
