GREAT Pastels
I love these pastels and intend to buy more. They are VERY soft and easy to use (I use them with makeup brushes to paint dolls' faces). The colors are intense and even. I previously used Rembrandt, but like these better.

Perfect for a beginner!
I’m a novice, but what a great way to dip my toes in this media with beautiful landscape colors that are supposedly one of the best brands, and I love landscapes. Perfect! So I was a little disappointed at first because I didn’t understand there was a difference between soft pastels and oil pastels, and I was like.. this is chalk! But!!!! I played with it and got a little better with it, and I really like it. A lot of messy fun.

How do you manage to burn (?) soft pastels. As a nomad, I rely on Amazon for “stuff”.
Half of these were - burned. They were hard and not even a mark could be made.I’m an artist. I know pastels.Amazon wants me to go to the trouble of returning this garbage for a refund. Nope. My time is precious, so a refund without a return (I’m a nomad, so drop off points are often unavailable).Don’t buy these.
