Really nice cereal bars
Iām really impressed by these little snack bars, they are tasty, somewhat healthy and great for a small boost. So this is a big pack, you get 28 bars which come in seven boxes of four which is pretty handy, as it means you can take a box with you on a trip or put a box in a home office to keep you going while working from home. The bars come individually wrapped too which is also helpful for their portability. The bars are the style of a pretty dry cereal bar, almost like an oaty dry flapjack. All of the marketing images of the bars make them look quite dark and chocolaty, but but they are actually much lighter in colour and gladly for me there isnāt too much chocolate flavour, I really like the flavour, it is a natural cereally and oaty flavour, there is a mild peanut taste, but nothing too strong. Overall I really like them, they could do with being a bit bigger though, as I find one is often not quite enough.

Chocolatey š«
Firstly let's talk about value; under 60p a pop - as I review them - for a gluten free snack is pretty good. They are small and that's my main issue, as the packaging claims that they're lower in sugar than average cereal bars. Cereal bars are often high in sugar precisely because they're not healthy snacks. They're also often much bigger than these 30 gram "boosts".The above negatives aside, these are quite pleasant. It could be my taste buds, but I didn't really taste anything that could be described as vanilla. These are essentially chocolatey oat bars, as far as I'm concerned. They're perfectly fine and decent value, but I wouldn't have one of these instead of a protein shake or even a normal protein bar. That said, they are snacks and aren't sold as replacements for protein bars.

Delicious, great hiking snack or even as a light lunch.
I love Graze snacks; I subscribe to their Graze boxes so knew these would be good. These protein bars are excellent, they are a decent size snack, so you feel satisfied after eating one. The texture is perfect, the oats arenāt soggy at all, but it is not dry, it isnāt hard, you do have to chew it a bit, but it isnāt toffeeish. Each bar contains 5.2g of protein, not super high but perfect to keep the hunger pangs off while we are hiking, at only 137 calories they are a great choice for me to have with a piece of fruit and stay well within my daily calorie quota. I love the flavour; they have got the balance of chocolate and peanut butter just right. Each bar is individually wrapped so easy to carry. You get 7 boxes of 4 bars. My dog stalks me while Iām eating them so I have to leave him a tiny corner. At under 55p per bar they are fantastic value. I would get these again.

Mould
First one I opened was mouldy. Product has a very short shelf life manufactured in March and out of date in September and considering I ordered a box of 28 in the middle of August I'll be eating nothing but hopefully mould free flapjacks for the next month.

Nice but some were mouldy
When not mouldy these are quite nice but some of them are mouldy and they are not past the best before date.

Small in size but high in protein
I was looked forward to trying these peanut butter oat bars, but they didn't really have a peanut butter taste. In fact I would go as far as to say if you don't like peanut butter but like seed based tracker style bars then these will be fine for you. The bars are quite small, a mouthful amount, but packed full of protein and fibre so are great for on the go and need a quick snack. These are like a soft flapjack with a small amount of crunch included in them. They are not sweet well don't have a high sweet taste. The most prominent flavour I get is from the seeds, mainly sunflower seed taste. Whilst they lack a big peanut butter flavour I find they taste fine, I like that they are not sweet and made with more natural ingredients - far too often sweeteners are used whereas these are golden syrup and brown sugar. They also have a good amount of fibre so are more filling and a great on the go snack, and ideal to take out if feeling a little peckish.

Small, about 1/2 the size of Graze flapjacks. Not very chocolatey
I love peanut butter and these protein biccies are PB and chocolate flavour so sounded yummy. When we are bicycling or camping , we often have snack bars with us.These come as a box of 28.7 x 4 small boxes inside a larger one. Each biscuit is individually wrapped.Very similar looking to a mini Flapjack. They are very slightly chewy with an oaty, medium dense texture but not sticky. They are not crumbly when you bite into them, like a biscuit would be but also not spongy like a cake and not thick or paste like as something like Kendal mint cake is.Size of biscuit is quite small about 2" by 1+1/2" and 1/2" thick (about half the size of a flapjack) so though you get 4 in a box, you'll probably want 2 or more to feel satisfied (we did).Taste testI was a little disappointed in the flavour. Its not enormously chocolatey tasting. The peanut aspect is definitely there and you can see pieces of Oat and pieces of Nut in there but the only real chocolate element is the brown colour of the whole thing and a very vague cocoa after taste. They are slightly sweet but not syrup sweet or sugar sweet, just a hint of sweetness which is probably because part of the sweetening comes from Chicory Root fibre. One biscuit is 137 calories.Carbs 8.5 grams per barPriceThese work out at 54 pence per biscuit which I think is a little expensive for the size of the snack. However they are Gluten free, vegetarian and Vegan friendly.AllergensGluten free Oats, Peanuts, Soy, Pumpkin seedsMay also contain Milk and nutsRecyclingThe individual wrapper needs recycling with bags at a supermarketEverything else is recyclable cardboard.ConclusionIf you want a protein boost then they will give you that because of the peanuts but if you want a filler after exercise or to keep you going on a day out, their Flapjacks are better value.
