I like the size of it, but the paper is hard to write on. You have to wait for the ink to dry because they are like those cereal box packaging paper where one side is extra shiny. I have tried using all types of pens on it. Sharpie works best because it dries the fastest, but I really don't want to smell Sharpie while I'm studying :(.

The cards are a nice size and shape, but their glossy surfaces do not absorb ink, so they smudge if you stack them as you create them. To avoid this, you need a lot of space where you can set them to dry if you are making a batch before you can collect them into a stack, or they will smudge ink on each other, ruining your work. Since I don’t have time or space for them to dry, they aren’t useful to me and I need to find a different product.

Great size, great price. The paper is nice and thick, however, it is shiny on one side. It makes the pen makes smudge and leave spots. Sometimes my pen won't write at all, almost like writing on plastic. Bought 2 packages of them and really don't use them because of this. Could be used with a pencil but I usually prefer pen.

I bought these index cards to help me organize my colored pencil and watercolor color swatches. These are perfect for the task! The index cards are quite sturdy, maybe like a playing card, with one coated surface side. I used the other side to lay down my color. I also like the handy, but not too large or too small, size. I posted these on a colored pencil site for artists and received lots of positive interest. I'm a happy customer!
