These clippers are easy to use and work great on those thick toenails. I was skeptical at first, but these will save me many trips to the nail salon.

The nail clippers are great, they cut thick nails with no problem. The file is very small so not very effectivefor filing. Overall happy.

I have poor circulation that has manifested itself in one pesky toenail that is incredibly difficult to cut - and equally unattractive. It crumbles instead of cutting clean with standard toenail scissors. While I medicate away, waiting for the problem to resolve, this annoying nail remains incredibly difficult to cut and defeats all conventional nail scissors - until these toe nail clippers.These super clippers come in a nice tin - which got dented in shipment, but the clippers and accompanying file were well seated in custom foam and unharmed. Unlike other products, the clippers manage to cut my problem toenail clear across, with limited powder or chalky residue, and finally! no jagged edges. Had there been any rough edges, I would have used the handy included file, and I'm glad to know it's available.Really pleased with the results - this pair of clippers seem industrial strength. The clippers consistently do the job.

Summary: Having used the same nail clipper for the past several years, the one great feature I really like, and have been missing, is the spring return. The old one broke, and I didn't bother replacing it (until today).Recommendations: 1) Two basic styles of nail clipper are straight cut, and curved cut (like these). I generally like the curved cut, but the straight cut has its uses; if I could have only one, I would go with a curved. 2) Next option is whether to have rubber coated or uncoated handles. Coated ones are more comfortable, but will eventually degrade; whereas bare metal ones are easier to sanitize, and will not degrade. If you live in a cold environment, having coated handles might be helpful. 3) Last option, spring return, or not. The only drawback I can think of is that elderly hands may not appreciate the extra pressure of the spring return.Pros: Good fit & finish; comfortable handles; spring return; Cuticle Pusher; metal case; spring loaded closure.Cons: None.Conclusion: At $12, rating this 5-stars.

This is a nicely made toenail clipper. It comes in a nice metal storage case along with a double sided nail file.The nail file works well and did a nice job of smoothing out some rough places on my nails.The clipper is very heavy duty with thick, comfortable handles. They are extremely sharp and made quick work of trimming my toenails. They are also nicely finished and appear to be made of quality materials. It has a protective cap to fit over the blades.As long as this trimmer stay sharp, it is an excellent choice.

This FERYES Toe Nail Clippers with Metal Nail File has been so helpful for my elderly father's thick toe nails. I have purchased other nail clippers, but none compare to the quality of these clippers. The handle makes it easy to grip and cut the nail without worrying about slipping and accidently cutting the nail incorrectly. It only takes a slight squeeze and the nail is cut with no jagged edges. I like the heavy duty file as well. I really appreciate the nice tin to store the implements to keep them safe and clean. It is a wonderful set.

Excellent nail trimmers. Not only do they cut nails effortlessly, they can also be used to clean cuticles to a certain extent. If you like DIY and are familiar with the ubiquitous blue flush wire cutters, these are basically that with a curved cutting edge and much better build quality and finish. It comes sharp and cuts through nails with much less effort than when using a traditional nail cutter.The nail file isn't the best I have used due to the short length. It does have two different filing surfaces, one on each side. One is a straight pattern and the other is the typical crosshatch pattern. The file is the less significant part of this kit since the flush cutter is so much better than other nail cutters you can buy at the store.These are currently sold out but I would definitely recommend picking up the nail cutter when it's back in stock. The curved cutting surface allows you to cut your nails in a curved line rather than having to do many small straight cuts for create a curve. I would definitely be able to recommend these nail clippers and file kit.
