I used them to hang 8" and 4" terra cotta pots in my privacy fence posts. They're really for 8" pots but I squeezed them a bit more shut and used them with my 4" as well. I have succulents and Hoyas that require shade and bright light and they hold the pots perfectly. I would recommend these. They're solid, not thin and flimsy.

You can bend these a little to fit smaller pots.

I was skeptical (imagine that). But these simplest of all pot hangers are fantastic. I'm holding a group of 7in clay pots filed with flowers. These are easy to install, one screw, yet they hold the pots amazingly well. They have held tight through a series of severe thunderstorms. Pots must have a upper lip as shown in the description.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this product for my house plants and so far works pretty well. So happy with that.

I have hung pots all over with these and they look great everywhere

These work great on newer pots. Older pots with thicker lip are difficult to get in. Still a good product.
