Best upgrade you can give your bike
Very powerful with a remarkable battery life. I have left it in my bike (which has an alarm) for several months and it started the bike first time. Extremely light and easy to fit. I had a Shido before but it was a few millimetres above normal size and would get stuck. This is the best upgrade you can give your bike.

Light as a feather, slimline and works a treat
Bought for my RE Himalayan 411 last year, nothing but positive things to say about this NOCO NLP9. When it arrived, I genuinely thought they'd forgotten to put it in the box, there's no weight there at all if you're used to Lead Acid. It's also so much smaller than the crap RE factory battery which is almost impossible to get on or off the bike (if you know, you'll know). The NOCO was a joy to fit (bags of room!) and absolutely no probs so far. Fires up every time, cold or not. The Himalayan owner that gave it a 1 star must've had a dud. Just bought another one for my Bonneville, so let's see...

AVOID - inadequate power, poor life (failed <1yr), poor warranty service
Bought one of these for my Royal Enfield Himalayan 411. It just about delivered the power to start it, but only just. Sometimes on a cold morning, starting the bike would drain all power from everything else and I would have to reset the time on the dash! Bike was stored indoors all year round, but I had to but the Genius charger to keep in charged between rides, even though the battery drain when the bike was off was tiny (<4Ma).After only 9 months it got worse and worse and stopped charging. The genius charger says it is charging it but the battery stays at 11v even when charging, and drops to below 7v if you turn over the bike.Contacted NOCO and they offered to replace but would not refund as I bought through Amazon. This is useless to me, as I don't want another NOCO product anywhere near my bike after this experience. They claim it is a direct replacement for there YUASA TYX-9 BS, but I don't feel it was in my case, nothing like.I will be buying a gel YUASA for less than half the price and avoiding NOCO like the plague. Awful.

Awesome battery
Dropped one of these into my LXR as my old DTX9 battery wouldn’t start up the bike. Took this out the box and bike fired up straight away, ran it for over 3 months with no additional charging and had no issues, then stopped for another 3 months and it’s having its first charge now. Overall can’t fault it as a battery but like most batteries it does seem to dislike severely cold weather. It’s incredibly lightweight for such a high power output.

Very impressed
I got this for my 1963 Lotus Elite with the 1216 cc engine at 10:1 compression ratio. It is an immensely impressive battery giving plenty of high power cranking from cold from an astonishingly small and light package. It's a great piece of kit.Update August 2024: it will also jump start my 2 litre diesel from cold.

Replacement battery for a Buell S1 Lightning
Bought this battery (NLP9) to replace a 10 year old Odyssey PC545 AGM battery for my Buell S1 Lightning. As stated by other people the battery didn't come fully charged, a few hours charging with the Noco Genius 1 did the job. The battery was smaller than the Odyssey battery which wasn't really a problrm, a couple of bits of foam padding did the job. The Buell had been stood for a couple of years without starting it, so i didn't expect a lot from this battery, boy was i suprised. On the third attempt the engine roared into life. For a smaller bettery it did the job brilliantly. Bearing in mind this is the first use with this battery so i can't comment on it's longevity. I will update this review depending on how things go. hope this helps others.

Clever battery design that's really compact
Noco’s new lithium-ion battery system is cleverly designed so that a single battery can be adapted to fit in several different types of vehicle. A compact core battery has a series of series of optional add-on plastic frames that increase its size, allowing a single battery to fit a range of vehicle types.

Useless POS battery. AVOID!!!
Battery arrived on time and that's the only good part of buying the Noco battery.Battery does not hold charge. Tested numerous times but if left on a bike for less than 2 days. The battery level drops to 3.11 volts. Previously the battery was at 13.32 volts , however as soon as I start the bike the voltage drops massively, well below 10 volts. Tested the bike with a known good working battery and the bike operates normally , no parasitic draws are observed. Bike can be left for up to a week with no issues, therfore the conclusion is I have been sold a faulty battery.Back to gel batteries I go.
