WOLF Garten - 2-schneidige Gartenschere »Premium Plus« RR 4000; 73AFA004650

Gets sticky very quickly
Just standard general use pruners: one would think the application is so well known, that a company of Wolf's reputation and experience would offer the perfect solution. Not so!The problem seems to stem from the widespread use of non-stick surfaces. On these tools, the non-stick coating is just the opposite. In use, a deposit of plant material rapidly builds up on the blades, and the pruners stick in the closed position. Cleaning with WD40 on a piece of rag usually restores free movement, but the frequency that becomes necessary soon means the tool is relegated to the "out of use" bin in the shed.A pity. Wolf, please note.

Disapointed in choice of purchase.
Prior to purchasing these I looked at the reviews, most of them were good. After trying these out on roses, they seem to cut ok, would not say they were a sharp cut, and sometomes they seem to sort of slide, which ends up having to trim the stems again; as when they slide they seem to leave a jaggered edge. I went middle of the road on price and reviews, but very disapointed with these. Might have to look into a better pair and possibly have to pay more. Would not recommend these at all. Equivalant to the very cheap £2 -£5 range.

Good sturdy secateurs
Purchased this as a replacement for the same make and model secateurs. She is very happy with this particular make, compared with inferior other makes purchased over the years. The only reason the previous pair failed was the return spring did not work and we did not have the original receipt to claim under the 10 year warranty.

Light and easy to use
I looked at several pairs of secateurs 'in the flesh' and these felt the best, but were quite expensive in the shop. I was pleased when I found them here at a much more reasonable price. They are lighter than an older pair, and have a nice, smooth action. Can't find any fault with them as yet.

Easy to see if put down
These are good secateurs, i find them easy to hold and use, i have quite a few pairs bought over the years they are all still in good condition. i have a habit of popping them down as i get distracted and wander off to do something else so being bright coloured helps me to find them!
