UP

I bought this album on CD when it was released back in 2002, and it's so near to my heart I have the lyrics and music structure memorized. I saw him twice for the tour of this album, so when he finally released it on vinyl my excitement was palpable. I had no idea what I was missing listening to this on an inferior media format of CD until now. The quality and depth of sound is difficult to express. I honestly feel like this release on vinyl has delivered his music the way it was always meant to be heard. For those true Peter Gabriel fans, buy this on wax. It will be one of the most beloved albums in your collection as it is to mine!

Just got my copy, and I must say, it's really amazing, I don't have any other album that sounds like this one, the depth of the sounds are superb. This is one of my favorites album of Peter Gabriel, and this release blows my mind, just buy it, and open your ears

Great Album!

Very impressed. Had no idea vinyl could equal or surpass the sound quality of digital CD's. This is the third Peter Gabriel 45 rpm vinyl remake I have purchased and they are all superb.

As indicated, this comes with a 24 bit high resolution download (16 bit is CD quality, unlike what a previous reviewer indicated), and the wax is impeccable. One of the best sounding records in my collection.

Supposed to have a hi-res down load. It turns out to be 24/44. Just cd quality. Very disappointed and I feel cheated and lied to.

UP is well worth repeated listens to appreciate it as an outstanding album in PG,s cannon of work.This release incl.original artwork and download card.Also a booklet giving details of musicians and production team.No lyrics alas,but as with the 2 other releases is a brilliant achievement and a fitting end to a trilogy that has and will continue to have appeal for years to come.Again limited edition of how many? Mine no.00053

Ace quality - Gabriel as good as ever

The sound of this remaster vinly is perfect

This is one of a series of Peter Gabriel's albums that are limited numbered edition stamped on the back cover. UP is a great if under-rated album that I prefer to Gabriel's US album that preceeded it. This is a 3 LP set with two tracks per side except the last record which has a blank side. The pressing and sound quality are excellent. Keep in mind this was a digital recording to begin with however, it sounds great on vinyl regardless.
