Challenging Co-op Game - Great for Fans of the Films
This is a challenging co-op game that can be very fun once you get the hang of it.Our first time through we messed up a few of the rules and were confused on quite a few things. Still, we came close to winning and that led us to want to play again. The next time, we made sure to have a better grasp of the rules and overall understanding of the game. We played a total of 4 times in the first week of owning the game because of how fun it was!For fans of the Fast and Furious franchise, this game will be a pleasure. It is clear that the person who designed this game studied the movies and included as much as possible in the game. The game comes with three different scenarios, each inspired by a different film in the series: Semi Heist from Fast Five, Tank Assault from Fast and Furious 6, and Chopper Takedown from Furious 7.The game has you start with Tank Assault because the other two scenarios introduce new mechanics, but I actually felt Tank Assault was a bit difficult as an introduction. Semi Heist was much easier for our group and felt like it would make a better intro to the game even with the added features. You can play as 6 different characters from the game: Dom, Letty, Roman, Tej, Han, and Brian. Each player has a special ability, make sure to review these beforehand and try to build a team whose abilities will be handy for the scenario you are playing. There are 4 different cars for each player to choose from. These also have special abilities so be sure to review those as well and maybe choose one that best fits your character.Overall I think this game is great. Working as a team to complete the scenarios is a lot of fun. I really liked attempting the stunt cards because they feel like scenes pulled straight from the movies. It's also really cool how you can change the order that everyone goes in each round. This way you and your group can strategize what everyone wants to do for the round and who should go first. At times, the game can seem challenging, but I think this is by design in order to keep you from winning all the time. I really like this game and can't wait to play it again!

Great Game!
Loved this! Any Fast and Furious lover would love this on its own, but the quality is great. It takes a little bit to understand the rules, but once you get playing it’s super easy to pick up.

one quarter mile at a time
What a surprise this game is. It's great. Sure it defies logic and physics just like it's IP. But it's fun. And not like any game I've played. It generates an interesting evolving puzzle every turn. The stunt deck is brilliant, I only wish there was more of them for each scenario. Event deck that is hard to predict when it will be triggered. Lots of special abilities, that you can mix and match (characters and cars). Everything just worked, really well. And the components are nice too. Especially for the price point. The insert is a little baffling. And shame we didn't get characters instead of the odd pegs. There was also a point during the play where there was no enemies. Seems like there should be a rule to spawn more when that happens. I had just a turn of twiddling my thumbs. This was due to some odd rolling, and the low player count. Doubt that would ever happen at 3 or 4 players. My biggest gripe is it's a sausage fest. And how in the world do you have this many characters and not include Mia. How? They could add so much to this, it's a great ruleset they've made. Sadly I don't think they will return to it. Maybe some fan made stuff will be cool.Theme shines 100%Nice production for small price pointStunt card system needs to be in more gamesUnpredictable enemy and event systemFun puzzle to figure out that keeps slightly altering thingsThe scenarios look pretty different

A little cumbersome to learn, but worth it.
It's clear from reading reviews that learning the game is not trivial. There are three similar but not identical games (scenarios) you can play included, and each has its own little twist on the rules. Further, there are lots of different types of materials you gotta manage. When I first read the rules, I was honestly overwhelmed. Thankfully, there is a link to a Youtube video included and while long, watching that video is very helpful. Seeing how everything works was a lot easier for me than remembering what each of the 10 or 15 components does and how they interact. So, maybe not a "great game" in the conventional sense, but certainly "a fun activity for fans" that costs about the same as one movie ticket. :/Once you have even a limited handle on the rules, the game is pretty fun. It's pretty unusual to have a board game where all the players work together against The System rather than each other, and to me that's quite enjoyable. The pre-turn dialog where you plan out with your friends how things are going to go is fun, and watching the plan unfold (or get destroyed) is entertaining in and of itself.I would not describe this game as a must have (like CAH :P) but it's a good value for the money, an enjoyable way to play a game *with* friends (instead of against), and if you enjoy the movies it's fun to experience some of the action scenes even if only in your imagination.

A whole lot of fun!
Full disclosure, I paid $6 for this on sale, so I went in with low expectations, but this game is actually a lot of fun! Funko has crammed a LOT into this box. It is based on vehicular combat, so players take on the roles of the characters from the Fast and Furious franchise and engage in various scenarios with multiple enemies and revolving boss characters. I learned it pretty quickly, and it feels like it has a lot of replayability. The pieces are fairly well made, and the materials seem to be reasonably good quality. The artwork is a little weird - like they didn't quite have rights to images of the characters, but it's an enjoyable game that you can play in 20 minutes or two hours, depending on what you're looking for. And if you love the franchise, then it's a must-have.
