Battery charger of good quality and clear display
Easy to use, charges quite quickly, value for money. The display is clear and flashes if you put the battery in back to front. It makes charging more than one battery easy.

Robust and fast, with excellent easy-read display
This is an excellent small charger. I bought it because I sometimes need to recharge 3.7V 18650 lithiums but am delighted to see it can also hold and charge 1.5V AA and AAA-sized cells. The spring-loaded charger holds the various sizes of cell firmly. I love the bright green illuminated display which makes the charge status very clear, and the two charge bays are fully independent, i.e. you can use one alone or both simultaneously, and you can have different battery types in the two bays. Charging is rapid and cuts off automatically to prevent overcharging. Be aware that this charger does not come with its own USB power supply, which isn't a problem as most of us are awash with USB psu's anyway, and it does include a suitable short USB power cable. In my tests, when charging two cells, it is drawing around 2.5W of power, with an output current from the USB of 400 to 500mA, so I would suggest using a psu rated at 1A or higher to ensure you do not overload it.

works really well, but ..
so, this is a USB charger for rechargeable batteries, such as you find in vape machines. I use it to charge standard 16850 batteries that my Smok uses.It charges fast, and full. And it's easy to use, and fairly solid. The only annoying thing is, it has a LED display that is reeeeally bright. If you set your batteries to charge at night, you *will* see it shine in the dark.I suppose you could unplug it, but i don't want to wear out the USB connection.

TERRIBLE CHARGER - Waste of money - unsafe and dangerous - fire hazard - story below...
When my first charger arrived broken (batteries would not charge even when left in for a full day), I contacted the company and they immediately sent me a replacement at no additional charge to me and without requiring me to return the faulty one. So I was delighted with their customer services and gave them a 3-star review to thank them (and noted that many other people left comments saying they'd received the same deal as me).But the replacement turned out to be worse than the original - it twice over-heated, the 1st time after only a couple of hours of charging, causing 2 of my brand new and expensive rechargeable batteries to emit wisps of smoke and forcing me to get rid of them (and they cost me over twice as much as the charger, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt, blamed the high quality batteries and kept trying to make it work - like the big dummy that I am).I've moved the charger to different outlets, used new cables and different kinds of new and older batteries and none of them have charged properly, with some getting minimal charge while others get nothing - even when charged for many hours (this all took place, of course, before the charger became a flaming launch-pad).If you do use this device, do not leave it unattended, just in case it overcharges and turns your batteries into red-hot missiles that will light your home on fire. The second and obviously last time it happened to me was while I was recently in hospital and after only charging the batteries for 3 hours. The charger over-heated turning one of my brand new batteries into a flaming rocket with a 10-foot tail of sparks that sailed out of the smoking charger, over me in the bed, and across the room where it landed and burnt a hole in the floor, much to the chagrin of the staff - I'm only grateful it didn't set off the fire alarm and the sprinklers - or that it didn't happen while I was sleeping, highly medicated, only to have it land on the bedclothes - just imagine if it had - in a hospital completely full up to bursting with mostly incapacitated seniors?!? Actually doesn't bear thinking about.I'd like the company to provide me with a full refund even though the window on returns has closed (my hospital stay precluded me asking during the window). This would be the fair thing to do (especially since their faulty charger cost me over £50 pounds in batteries + the cost of the charger itself). And if they do contact me and return my money, after reading this review, I will change my title to reflect their (hopefully) outstanding customer services and tone down the review itself. So I'm waiting to hear from them and, in the meantime, I'm hoping this explicit account will encourage potential customers to keep looking until they find a product that will actually do what it says on the tin without causing your batteries, you or your home to burst into flames. Cheers.
