My car had some tint removed from the windows which had the factory antenna array installed. The guy removing it also stripped the antenna array off the surface so I had 0 reception. I cut the wire on this and soldered it to the antenna leads on the window and bam! Back to perfect reception. Best $9 I’ve spent in a long time.

This little thing beats my stock antenna i pick up so much better. This it mounted outside on my windows frame I would say probably a 20 mile range increase. This is attached to my Uniden Home Patrol.

I have a Uniden BCT15x Scanner was not picking up without any Antenna at all, this is super cheap but immediately started picking of a decent amount already. Obviously helps having it closer to a window, or in my case like actually through the window and hanging over the top of main window hallway down the out side of window made big difference.

Behaves more like a dummy load than an antenna. The original scanner telescopic antenna on my new Uniden scanner works way better. I thought putting this one in my window would make a big difference; but, nope. Small 11", coax 1/8" diameter. Would not pick up 153mhz main powerful police repeater on my new Uniden scanner that my 30-year-old scanner was picking up with telescopic antenna. Useless, I say look for something better.

Works like a charm with long cord as well. Very happy with this purchase.

I placed this on my garage door opener, it helped extend the range. Now I can come in hot into my garage because the garage door is open before I hit the driveway. I do not condone coming in hot though, it is not advised, more on that later if you know what I mean
