I don’t know if this actually disinfects but I’d like to think it does. The size of the bottle is big and I’d say it’s a good value (the Home Depot rug solution is same price and less solution).Now for the cleaning aspect - it does a great job with my Bissell TurboClean. Our rugs were in bad condition as we live in an old farmhouse from 1800s. This made the carpets look and smell new again! I can’t speak for the safety aspect but I like that this is antibacterial.It says only use with Easy Fill tanks but I don’t think my Bissell has easy fill and I used this just fine. Worked great and my rugs smell and look great!

This product sure took a lot of dirt out of my rugs. I don’t even let she’s in my house. Thrilled to have them clean and fresh now. Gets lots of product for the money

Our 90-lb Pyrenees was sick for six weeks. Every morning I’d wake up to a fresh batch of diarrhea on the carpet. I tried several shampoos and even oxgyen bleach. It wasn’t until I finally used the product thatBissell had designed for just this scenario that I was satisfied with the results. The carpets look like nothing had ever happened. Both our dogs avoid that area so I suppose they can still smell something, but humans can’t. The room looks and smells as fresh as it did before our adventure.
