High Quality and great features
ThermoPro has quality products. This thermometer conveniently uses 1, AAA battery which comes with the thermometer along with a usable, small Phillips screwdriver to open and close the the battery compartment that is built so that the small screw does not fall out when opening the compartment. The unit has nice weight to it, and a good magnet to attach it to an appliance, a large and well-lit display, the ability to convert between C and F, auto shut-off (in case your forget), and it's waterproof so that I do not have to be so careful when washing it after each use. I purchased this unit because of some of the updated features and it reads the temperature the same as my older ThermoPro. Before purchasing I posted a question on Amazon and ThermoPro answered the question with in an hour and even quickly responded when I questioned their response. I strongly recommend this appliance.

Fantastic little gizmo
This little, inexpensive gadget is FANTASTIC! It really is “instant” so you don’t lose the heat from your over or grill while you’re checking the temperature. We love it so much we bought another one for our RV and one for our daughter.

Excellent Little Device
This is an excellent alternative to the Thermo Works stuff. Much cheaper and it works equally well. I especially like the back light.

I love this ... works great!
Works great and as promised. Friends were cooking one night and pulled out one of these to test the doneness of the chicken dish we were having. I ordered mine the next day. It is a great tool!

This thermometer is excellent! It's accurate for reading food temperatures, easy to use, and the readings are clear and easy to see. I especially appreciate the foldable probe for convenient storage.
