I wanted something easier to take camping than a full Blackstone. We already have a pop up propane double burner grill. This worked perfect to set on top and takes up barely any space when storing.

This thing is great. I put it in my grill. Works great. A lot cheaper than a flattop grill. Be sure to season it well. I used black some seasoning

I've used this griddle on my gas grille many times now and in general I'm very happy with it. It is very heavy and solid, but it does have some limitations. I found out the second time I used it that it is possible to get it "too hot". In the middle of cooking it suddenly made a sort of "pop and twang" sound - and it was no longer flat. It had lifted on the right front corner, and my first thought was that I was going to have to return it because it was defective. However, after I turned off the heat I heard the griddle pop again and it had returned to flat. I have learned that getting the griddle as hot as I did that day is not necessary, and with proper use it works great.Now to get into why I didn't give it five stars, it has to do with the cooking surface. It is coated with some type of non-stick material, but it does not perform well as this thing is difficult to clean. I've developed a system for cleaning it that works okay, but it's still not easy. I'm still happy with it anyway, since it's nice having the option of either open grilling or using a griddle when needed.

My only complaint is the lack of a drain. I know I purchased it without the drain and didn’t think it would be an issue.I can deal with it, and I am looking at cutting in a drain with a pipe that falls into a waste container.I cooked eggs , sautéed onions and toasted a bagel.It was so nice to have the room and not deal with a pan.Now I am rebuilding the grill replacing the burners, and setting the griddle to sit flush so I can close the cover.I have recommended this to some of my friends.

perfect fit on a walmart "expert" 5-burner barbeque.. takes up 1/2 of the cooking area so you can use both this griddle and the grill at the same time.. pretty even cooking temp, a lot better than a camp chef... might even buy another so i have a double griddle... ;)

We bought this griddle about a week ago, eagerly anticipating the culinary wonders it would bring. After meticulously seasoning and prepping it like pros, we made a big breakfast, and it seemed like a solid purchase. Fast forward to that night, and while cooking Asian rice, we were treated to a lovely "POP" sound as the griddle warped dramatically on the grill. As an added bonus, the welds on one side decided to pop too, looking like a welding student's first project—truly a work of art. Once it cooled, it returned to its original shape, only to warp again every time it heats up.Whether this griddle is a defective masterpiece or just a shining example of cheap craftsmanship, we want our money back. This experience has been a real confidence-builder in knowing what not to buy next time.

Just got around to using it today to do a test with some chicken thighs and salmon and man, it's really good. Took the diffusers off my propane grill and popped this right on the grates. Doesn't stick, is super easy to clean and saved me hundreds of dollars switching to a Blackstone. Can't wait to use this for meal preps and just cooking in general.Update: have used this extensively over the past couple of weeks and it really is fantastic! I really have no complaints with this insert, it's been money very well spent.

This unit is exactly what I needed and fits perfectly on my BBQ. I used to have a 36" Blackstone griddle, but it was TOO big for my back desk, so I sold it. I have been looking for a long time to find a griddle that fit perfectly on my BBQ. This was the one, and the non-stick feature - excellent.I am glad I bought this particular one, and would recommend it to anyone.
