Great Irrigation System Tools!
Essential small tools for the do-it-yourselfer when fixing problems that are bound to happen with an established irrigation system. Have 2 sets located in both a garage toolbox and a medium box with all the varied replacement parts in a convenient storage location. Each set is strategically placed to be available to respond quickly when one or more of the plastic pieces in the spray head fails, which they are prone to do without warning. It is also advisable to have a raincoat readily available as working with the water spray, a person can get plenty wet working with and monitoring the water coverage of the irrigation system after repair.

Looks ok to me.
The screwdriver tool is a little Mickey Mouse but I believe it will do the job. The pliers should work pretty well.

Rain Bird Useful Tools
This package of 2 Rain Bird tools is very useful when working on your sprinkler system. I used them to replace old or damaged nozzles and to install new nozzles. The pliers pull Pop-up sprinkler heads out of the ground. You put the plier nose into the head, squeeze the handles and pull the head out. Once it is above ground, grab with one hand and put the center of the pliers around the head to hold it above ground while you work on replacing the nozzle. Once you finish replacing or cleaning the nozzle, you grab the head by hand again, release the pliers and slowly allow the head to go back into the ground. Once that is done, the special screwdriver is used to control the flow of the water by turning the screw on top of the head. I am a female and this was a very simple thing to do - made easier with the right tools.

What you need to install and adjust Rainbird spray nozzles
Pliers lift and hold tube nozzles screw into. Screwdriver adjusts spray pattern height and both are essential for installing and adjusting irrigation heads.

Doesn’t work
The plier type tool is incredibly hard to squeeze open and even though the screw is turn for maximum width, they won’t fit around any of my sprinklers. Additionally, once pliers are squeezed open they do not close and it equally difficult to manually close them. Maybe if they opened and closed easily I’d keep them to pull sprinklers up in order to adjust them. Unfortunately, I have to return them since they are a waste of money for me.
