I bought this to improve our home Wi-Fi coverage, mainly for our outdoor Blink cameras, smart bulbs, Ring doorbell, and to get a better signal out to the summer house and back garden. We also had issues with our upstairs TV constantly buffering, which made streaming really frustrating. After reading a few reviews, I decided to give this model a try and I’ve been really pleased with the results.The extender arrived quickly, the very next day, and was well packaged. It came in a compact box with clear instructions. The device itself is smaller than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It fits neatly into the wall socket without getting in the way and has a clean, simple design that blends into the room easily.Setting it up was straightforward and took less than 30 minutes. You download the TP-Link Tether app which guides you through the process step by step. I had one minor issue at the beginning with the network name not appearing right away, but a quick restart sorted it out. Even without much technical knowledge, it was easy to get everything up and running. The app also lets you manage signal strength and connected devices, which is a helpful feature.The performance has been excellent. The TV upstairs now streams without any buffering, and the Eufy camera at the back of the house has gone from a weak, unstable signal to a strong and steady connection. I was also impressed that the 5GHz band reaches into the garden, something I didn’t expect. Devices now automatically connect to whichever signal is strongest, and we’ve had no issues with lag or dropped connections since installing it.I’ve also made use of the Ethernet port to connect my desktop PC, which had an inconsistent signal before. It now has a solid and stable connection, even though it’s quite far from the main router. The extender supports different modes including access point and mesh, and you can also choose the power level depending on how far you want the signal to reach.Build quality is solid and the design is discreet. It feels well made and not cheap or flimsy. Once it’s in place, it quietly gets on with the job and you don’t have to think about it again.For the price, it’s great value. It does exactly what I needed and more, solving all the Wi-Fi issues we were having inside and out. TP-Link has always been a reliable brand in my experience, and this product continues that trend. Works well. Works even better when in conjunction with TP Router.Always used TP tech. Good budget option. Good wofi range, quick reset time, easy connection plus ! Has ethernet port.Would highly recommend 👌

The set up was a bit frustrating and confusing but after a few false starts we got there and it is working great now and although we have no idea regarding the actual speed of the range extender, it does exactly what we purchased it for, and that was to increase the WiFi signal from the Eufy camera for the back garden.Previously the WiFi signal was hit and miss, and would hover between 20 kb/s and 40 kb/s due the the modem - also TP-Link, is in the living room at the front on the house, the back garden camera is at the rear most wall of the house, but now we have the TP-Link range extender the WiFi signal is strong and stable and is now around 500 kB/s.Although it is just a accessory tech product TP-Link have do a nice job in making of high quality plastics and giving it a nice appearance and making it pretty compact and it is quite smaller than the pictures on Amazon suggest it to be and that was a welcome surprise... I have taken some pictures to try and show the quality of it and the size relative to a Airwick plug in air freshener most homes would have for people to make a better informed decision.All in all, it isn't a everyday fashion accessory product, it is a small plug in and forget product and it very good for doing just what it was made and purchased for at a very reasonable price and it is an easy recommendation from me.

Very good product, sadly developed a fault but luckily within the 2 year warranty period offered by TP Link. Used their online live chat to see what options I had to resolve this. Their advisor (Jerry A) attempted some trouble shooting solutions but sadly didn't work so they have arranged a replacement. Credit to Jerry A, extremely helpful and quickly resolved with minimal fuss so just have to wait for my replacement to be arranged and delivered. Make sure you take the time to register products for your warranty as sometimes this defo pays off as would have been £20 to buy a replacement at my own cost.

Even if its only 2-3 meters away only gave a speed of 130 upload and download even when my origional router gives 800- 950 mbps 2-3 meters away so not really the advertised 400 plus but good thing is 10 meters away the 130 mbps is good for me as i dont get 50 mbps in my last room so does extend but not high speeds

Had patchy WiFi in half of my house, now I have full coverage. This little plug in unit is so simple but it works well. Occasionally there is a slight delay before the connection is established but once it is, it’s fast. Recommended as a quick and easy solution to improve your home WiFi coverage area.
