Loved the smell and it did work in the smelly garbage can where we placed it, but I only gave it a 3 star rating as it fell off long before it had run out. It would not stick again.

I love the smell of it, great solution to the unpleasant waft of garbage you can sometimes be hit with. But the adhesive isn’t very good and it always ends up falling off. If I don’t notice it, another member of my family just throws it away and then i have to replace it and it happens again. That part is of course user error, but i wish the adhesive worked better so I didn’t have have to worry about it.

I used this for regular trash cans with lids and also for my sons’ diaper pails. I couldn’t tell a difference in either of the trash cans. These definitely didn’t do the trick.
