I had a rubber inflatable donut before which simply didn't do the job. I paid just a little more and got this one which has been amazingly comfortable and has relieved the pressure on my tail bone. I fully recommend this donut if you need to have one. still stays in shape after daily use, still firm, still comfortable.

Gives excellent, painless support

It was sold as used for way less. Its plain black unlike the photo that shows a seemingly higher quality outer black and white shell. So thats why its not a 5 star. Got the job done but was what the photo showed... color wise is all.

I purchased this to help with hemorrhoid issues but it ended up making it worse. The pressure it still focused on the wrong place by having a hole in the center. Just as if you were to sit on the toilet too long and the downward pressure creates strain.

The donut pillow is the most comfortable cushion I have ever used. I am a a big guy, 6ft 4 inches and weigh about 255 lbs and other cushions despite their claims flattened quickly; this cushion has remained firm. I was skeptical about the Ergonomic Innovations donut pillow but it is like a miracle. Now I don't leave home without it, I use it everywhere including the car. No pain. I ordered 2 more.

It is more stiff then other donuts, but it's not perfect

I bought this for myself after I was in a car accident and broke my tail bone. At the time I was 300 lbs and this is the only cushion that ever helped. I've had it for maybe 6-8 months and it still holds its shape. I use it every night at dinner. It's not too firm or too squishy. It's comfortable and keeps its shape. Highly recommend.UPDATE: April 2021The cushion has finally gone flat and no longer helps. For a year and a half of use, I'm not mad.

This cushions cut out areas are perfect for my injury. I damaged/injured my tailbone and the recovery is slow. The most important part is to keep from sitting on it. This cushion provides the cut out area and is firm enough to keep from squishing down. It is a great quality too. The cover is removable and can be laundered if needed. If you have a similar injury this is the best cushion!
