This "Straw Knotted Headband" is defintely not straw. It is a plastic material woven to look like a "straw headband" and instead of a straw look and feel, it is shiny and plastic to the touch - like those cheap beige plastic shopping bags given at some stores - banned in our town because of environmental concerns. The plastic reflects light (straw would not), so it has a shine. If this won't bother you, then go ahead and order. It is comfortable. I would return, but it seems like too much trouble at this point. Not sure I will ever wear it. I would not order if I had known what material it is made with.

Over all, it’s cute, but doesn’t appear as wide and laid out nice as the photo. The ribbon is hot glued down in the center and is puckered all the way across The headband and it can’t be fixed. The raffia edges also curl slightly under because it was shipped inside a narrow plastic sleeve. It also has a slight chemical smell to it, but it’s ridiculously comfortable to wear and if they were a few dollars cheaper, I would buy more of them. Also, shipped super fast. I ordered yesterday afternoon and had it by today at 6 pm.

Right out of the package I thought the headband pooped off my head too much, but it just needed time to relax. I almost didn't wear it, but I am happy I did. The headband really added something to my hair with little effort and I got compliments. The headband wasn't too tight and was comfortable all night long.

If you have a larger head ... like me...this is not for you.

This is my first review of any kind ever. This is such a cute headband! I've been on a headband kick lately and ordered quite a few on Amazon. I kept 4. This is one of them. What prompted me to write this though is how stylish, light, and COMFORTABLE this one is. My husband and I are on a road trip from Chicago to Miami. I've had this on for 5 hours now and no headache or pressure whatsoever. The weave and material makes it unique and it really looks much more expensive than its price. Great buy!

Cute. But does not really grip your head like I would like but it's adorable and lightweight.

If you have big hair and a big head - I know your pain! This headband is actually comfortable on my big ole head. I wore it all day and wasn’t bothered by it at all! Amazing and hopefully they have more styles that will work for me 💫
