The Best Ear Mite Treatment I Have Ever Used
I adopted a cat with a severe ear mite infection. Very very severe. Before taking him to the vet and paying ridiculous prices for a prescription, I found this on Amazon and figured I would see if this would clear it up. The same day he stopped itching his ears. A few days later the sores and missing fur he had on his neck from where he would itch began to heal and the fur started growing back. To say it was a severe infestation would be an understatement and this cleared it right up. I definitely recommend that any cat owners who have cats with a case of ear mites or cats that are prone to ear mites buy this and keep it on hand. It is by far the best ear mite treatment I have ever purchased.

Effective, but be aware of the fragrance if you're sensitive.
So much better than the oily stuff that they sell in the pet stores (I believe it's Sargeant). My cats shake their heads after it's applied, and with the oily one, their fur would look horrendous for days afterwards. The oily stuff also didn't seem as effective on the mites. The Mita-Clear worked quickly (2 applications, about a week apart) and it didn't cling all over their fur. It's a white, creamy-like substance that stays put better than the other. The one thing I didn't like was that it had a noticeable fragrance that lasted for a couple days after each treatment. I'm sensitive to fragrance, and I didn't want to hold the kitties for two days afterwards because the smell was gagging me. Probably wouldn't bother most people, but something to consider if you're fragrance-sensitive. If you're not sensitive, it might spell somewhat pleasant to you--kind of smelled like they'd been to a groomer and had some froo-froo stuff perfume applied to them. Since it took care of the ear mites, I was willing to deal with the smell.

Potent, efficient mite killer.
I found a kitten two months ago. Poor thing was tiny, abandoned (or feral), skinny with worms, ears painful with mites, and covered in fleas!I had everything on hand to treat the little guy except something for something for his severe ear-mite infection. I looked on Amazon, saw that this one here had some glowing reviews, and ordered it. This stuff is potent. I dont think it stings when applied, but its thickly sticky oily stuff, and it works AMAZINGLY well. My kitten is the most accomplished Houdini character Ive ever met. Getting this stuff in his ears is a chore that is nearly impossible. So, I only got it in for one treatment. Everyday thereafter, I gave up (exhausted) trying to hold him or catch him to administer the treatment. But, by golly, it turned out that I only really needed one treatment. He stopped itching on day two and by the end of the week the black tar was GONE from his ears. Its been months since the first and only treatment, so I was able to catch him for just one more treatment last night (noticed a tiny bit of itching and black tar in his ears again). I feel confident that I wont need another for a long while, it ever again. Great price, and takes care of ear mites quickly.

So Far I'm Very Impressed
I recieved this today and immediately applied it to all three of my cats ears. Before you couldn't touch their ears because they would flinch and flatten them and were constantly digging at them. It's been about 4 hours since application and all 3 cats are so far at ease. I was able to scratch their heads and behind their ears and they loved it without pulling away / flinching. I also have not seen them scratch or dig at their ears in hours. I can tell they are already feeling so much better. This stuff is not a liquid drop like most ear mite treatments. This is a thicker white lotion like substance that really sticks in their ears once massaged in. I think that helps it work a whole lot better cause it all doesn't just come right back out once they shake their heads after application.I am going to apply again in 1 week as instructions indicate and then update from there on if they are truly gone for good. I hope so.

Definitely a good buy if your pet has ear mites!
I like this ear mite treatment for a couple of reasons.First, it works. Even better, it works the first time. Reapplication isn't necessary nearly as much as with other products.Second, it's white and not clear. Why is this important? Because you can see where the treatment goes in the ear. With clear liquids you can only guess that you got good coverage before the animal bolts away. With this stuff you can plainly see where it's going and if you missed any spots.Third, price is great. It's not terribly expensive and you get a lot in the bottle. There is only one thing I don't like and that is the smell. It has a very medicinal odor to it. Not a big deal and not enough of a complaint to knock off any stars. If your pet needs help with ear mites, this product is definitely worth considering.

Does the job
This did the job! In no way was it easy, as cats do not like their ears being messed with and we followed the directions to firdt clean the ears and then apply the medication. It certainly worked.

This is something I like to keep on hand
This is something I like to keep on hand. I haven't needed to use this particular bottle yet but when I do I do not want to make my furbabies wait even a couple days. I have ordered this before and it worked great.
