A&R Sports Blade Cover

These were just what I wasLooking for to put over my blades on my skates. Attached the size chart to help you decide which size you need.

They match my skates and roller hockey skates too. I’m a little OCD about matching. So I wanted alkali skates with Graf skates. I’ve recently tried ccm and will be switching to red soon after I buy new skates. Universal fitment so a little extra at the ends. But it’s a good cover and great price.Update *** My blade holders have already ripped. Used them for less than 2 monthsOne more update.....up in NJ I randomly found their headquarters....showed them the issue, he explained the covers are for figure skates. He replaced them with the better model.

The soakers are as advertised... and they fit my skates fine. The large fit my size 7 women's figure skates. I was surprised because from the description I thought they'd be bigger (potentially too big). However, they fit well. That said, I'd look for a larger size or a manufacturer with clearer specs if your figure skates are much larger than a women's 7.

Full disclosure here, I'm a thirty something lady from Texas who just started learning how to skate so I probably wouldn't know the difference in a good pair of skate guards and a bad one. These definitely get the job done though! I wear a children's size 3 skate and the medium size fit perfectly snug, though they look like they would stretch to fit a few sizes larger without any issues. The price was right and I enjoyed the wide variety of fun color options.

This stretch enough to fit over my blades with my skate guards on, not that I use them that way, but just to show that they do stretch some. My blades are 9 3/4.

Love the variety of color choices. Only issue we had is with 1 pair (out of 3) the elastic stretched too far and snapped after 1st use. It still works. It was on a girl's size 5 figure skate which I ordered a medium for so size 5 and up I would go with a large in the future.

Does the job for my cheaper ice skates, keeping them dry and rust free. I didn’t think they would last for that long, as the material feels cheap, but so far they have been doing well!They only provide minimum protection from dings and dents, being that the covers are just fabric, so I wouldn’t walk in them or use them if you are rough on your skates!

I bought the recommended size (M for size 5 skates) but when I went to put it over my blade, the band inside completely snapped! The other one seemed to be fine but I now have one useless blade cover. I recommend sizing up as well even though the packaging says small is for figure skates smaller then size 13, medium is for sizes 1-5, and large is greater than size 6. The tie dye color I bought was also a lot darker then in the photos (see my picture).

Although listed for ice hockey boots my figure skate blades are 10 3/4 in long and they fit these well.They do exactly what soakers are meant to do, keep the blade dry after skating and soak up and/or prevent any condensation build up. They don'y have a hard wearing strip under the blade like some soakers do, so you shouldn't walk n them... But then that's what 'blade guards' are for! All in all, very pleased with these - does exactly what it says on the label!

Good covers, fit my size 8.5 UK ice hockey skates fine, any larger though and I would have needed a size up in case that helps you.

Fit my size 6 (UK size) skates just about right. Helps protect my skates and make them nice and dry.

Fit my size 5 skates well. Very useful for wet skates and keeping them safe in my bag. Cute colour as well.
