Best pen I have ever used
I admit to having a weird thing about pens or writing instruments in general. It's not to the the point of being a fetish, but I do love them. This pen gets everything right for me. It has a certain heft to it without being too bulky. It feels good in the hand and looks beautiful. I love rollerballs and this one flows so smoothly. Everything about it feels like quality, and at the price, it represents a great value. I have now purchased four of these Scriveiner pens (two stainless - (one was for my son), the black/green, and the fountain pen) and each has proven to be fantastic. I also had a question and their customer service person was incredible in her response and desire to make sure I got what I needed. These will be the pens I carry every day from now on.

Pretty Nice Rollerball
I just received this in the mail and it is really classy looking. I have replaced it with another pen that I won't mention the brand, but it is real close and they use Scriveiner refills too. This brand surprised me, because I bought two of their Fountain Pens that I am really enjoying, those write like glass if you are into fountain pens. I just wish these were a tad girthier. The pen is weighty. And does not feel or look cheap. I always saw them on websites, but was not sure. I am now.The people that are having trouble with the writing or skipping, it's not the pen, sometimes you just get a bad refill. You have to take into account that the pen possibly has been sitting in a cold warehouse and the ink could be a little gunked up. Rub it between your hands or let it sit for a bit in a warm environment. Or maybe soak the body of the refill in some warm water. It is ink and it does freeze if you're in a cold area. And you can buy different sizes and colors of the refills. They come in fine, medium and broad.I have found a nicely priced pen that will not break the bank. Hopefully Scriveiner will come out with different designs.

Wonderful and Beautiful Pens
Love these pens already have the black lacquer(personalized), just received the dark grey, and today ordered the silver with gold plating. All are rollerballs and I use the fine point. Handles and writes beautifully.

Beautiful Pens with Amazing Quality!
This pen is marvelous! It's genuinely the best pen I've ever picked up aside from the pure sterling silver pen set I have that costs upwards of $400! I love the weight, and the ink cartridges that come with it are of high quality. Although I did swap them out for a fine-tip rollerball because I prefer the feel of a fine tip. I loved this pen so much that I bought a second one! I own the silver chrome and the midnight blue! The silver chrome has a slightly heavier feel than the midnight blue, but I love them both! They are beautiful pens that are very well crafted. I swapped the cartridge in the midnight blue pen for a gel tip so it would bleed less than rollerball ink does for things that I don't want bleedthrough on (underlining in my Bible). It fits a Pilot G2 ink cartridge, so I went with that. Overall, I am very pleased, and I may buy more in the future!

Not my first Scriveiner ink pen.
I have a couple of fountain pens made by Scriveiner and this rollerball. The color of this "Racing Green Rollerball" is really a beautiful green. I would call it an emerald green and the color really depends on the angle of the light. The rollerball itself is very smooth, and I love writing with it. It's great for writing notes and letters. Being left-handed, you know being in my right mind, a lot of pens have ink that will smudge. I have not seen this ink do that, but I'm really careful, so it may just be me.This pen is very comfortable to write with. It has a good weight to it. For a quality pen, this one is worth it. I think you should get two of them, I am probably going to get at least that many more. Sometimes if somebody admires a pen that I have, I will just give it to them. It's a great surprise.

Amazing pen… almost
A Solid Performer with Noticeable Trade-OffsWhen reviewing any pen, it’s essential to consider both the competition and what sets it apart. I’ve used this pen extensively and compared it directly to the Zebra G-450, a $10 gel pen that sets a high bar in terms of ink quality, balance, and reliability.Writing Performance:This pen writes smoothly and has a visually sleek design, but its ink tends to bleed through the paper more than the G-450, especially on standard notebook paper. If you’re writing on both sides of a page, this becomes a noticeable issue and can make your notes look messy. The ink color also leans toward a brown-black, which, while unique, doesn’t provide the crisp contrast you’d get from the G-450’s more true black tone.Build and Comfort:In terms of physical feel, the pen is lightweight without the cap, which is nice for long writing sessions, but the moment you post the cap, it becomes top-heavy, throwing off the balance. That said, compared to the G-450, it does fatigue the hand less over extended use. This makes it a better fit for people who write quickly or take long notes, assuming they can overlook the ink bleed issue. Conclusion:This pen has a place—its smooth writing, lighter grip, and distinct ink tone offer a nice alternative to more rigid, weighty pens. However, for precision, clean double-sided note-taking, and a richer black ink, the Zebra G-450 remains the stronger option. This pen is good—but it’s has some catching up to do.

It’s the best pen I’ve owned!
Beautiful! Smooth writing! Doesn’t smear! Everything it promised to be. One back up ink supply and one replacement spring. Doesn’t leak! I’m so excited! Inside the box was a free 2-year warranty! Pen cap pulls off. Secure enough that it will not accidentally come loose. Easily unscrews for replacing parts. Great for the cost! And comes in black, blue, green, gold, and silver. I chose black. Going to get another one today for work!
