iCraft Purple Tape Removable (1/2 Inch x 30 Yards)

I first heard about this tape in 2019 on YouTube. Everyone seemed to like it and even though it is expensive, I purchased some. I did like it. I recently purchased a lot more with the "new look". This tape is nothing like the original. It doesn't stick at all. The very cheapest of washi tape works better. I'm really disappointed!

So I purchased this tape because my dog had eaten the one that I had bought from them previously. I was obsessed with the first purple tape that I had gotten from this brand. It was wider than this but the description was the same. This tape is no where near as good as the original purple tape. I use the tape to hold my dies in place and with the older tape I could use one piece many times but with this one it loses its stickiness after just one use. I probably won’t repurchase unless the original is released again.

Low tack, damage free, temporary tape for paper crafts. Conveniently fits in the Scotch tape dispenser!

Do not use this tape to hold dies in position on foiled card stock! Damages the card stock. Using it for die placement on regular card stock worked fine. Replaced painters tape min the craft room. A bit expensive but don’t need to use a lot at one time.

I loved the Purple Tape the way it was and I used it all of the time to mask my paintings and it worked great! This 'New" version however doesn't even have enough adhesive on it to stick to anything. It's like putting two pieces of paper together and expecting them to just stick. It doesn't work! I'll never buy this product again!

The new design is AWFUL. Has absolutely zero adhesion and is totally unusable.Nothing remotely like the purple. Ugh.

Finally a tape that doesn't rip My cardstock!! I've tried the original Purple tape and it rips the cardstock no matter what I do. This tape holds My dies in place without ripping the paper. It's very low tack. I haven't tried it yet for masking off when Ink blending, so I don't know if it sticks well enough for that. I'm hoping it will and I'll be very pleased.

A bit pricey when compared to other low tack tapes, but it is the exact width I wanted for crafting. That made it a no-brainer for me! The cute print puts it on the fun side!
