Finally someone thought about their design!
I have purchased similar items before, but on those items the safety cover could not be opened unless you used a 3-pin UK plug (or "hacked" it in a rather unsafe fashion). Obviously that does not help if you'd like to use it for a 2-pin UK plug such as for an electric shaver or toothbrush charger (which are not compatible with the EU 2-pin sockets despite looking very similar). This particular item handles those 2-pin UK plugs just fine!It also has a compact design, with rounded corners that don't cover other available sockets or pierce a hole in your luggage liner. They also feel quite a bit sturdier than similar (white) ones I've purchased before, and fit the EU sockets like a glove.

Der Artikel ist weder SchuKo- noch Eurostecker-kompatibel. Der Sicherungspin des Typ G schiebt den Adapter aus der SchuKo-Dose, ein Anschluss and eine Euro-Buchse ist nicht möglich.Der Artikel gehört aus dem Sortiment genommen!

Cuidado con la descripción del producto
El producto no dudo que sea bueno y efectivo, pero no se ajusta a la descripción que le han puesto. Por adaptador debe entenderse algo que adapta la clavija existente de un aparato o dispositivo para poderla utilizar en otro tipo de enchufe, y este producto lo que sirve es para sustituir o reemplazar la clavija europea por la británica. Es decir, hay que cortar el cable para quitar la clavija, pelar el cable y meter los correspondientes hilos en este aparato.
