Seem to be quality although I haven't used them yet. Initially I was looking for round patches but had difficulty finding then this size. The reason for this had been that I have been using an old box of Hope round .22 cal. patches that worked well, although they were difficult to insert into the slotted adaptor for the cleaning rod. I also found that the patches rated for .22 cal., .223 and .556 are too big for my .22 cal. barrel. When I realized that the square shape was much easier to insert into the adaptor slot, by simply inserting a corner of the patch into the slot and then straightening it out, I was sold on the square shape. I hope that these do not have too much lint in the fabric so as to leave any in the barrel, but I am pleased, and time will tell. Maybe after a few uses, I would add the last star. The price was right and it was delivered very timely. It is worth a try!

The .22 Cal. patches (1" x 1") are my "go to" patches for cleaning an AR-15 (5.56mm). I've found the larger .223 cal. patches (1-1/8 x 1-1/8) to be just a little bit too big when combined with the M-16 cleaning rod I use (the .223 ones will work, but you really have to force them through).The material Southern Bloomers are made of (yes I know where they come from, though I try to forget) work very well at getting a barrel clean. And while they do leave a bit more lint behind than I'd prefer, they're no worse than any other patch I've tried (with the exception of Butch's Triple Twill which unfortunately don't come in 1"x1" size).So, they're not perfect, but for the money they are the best I've found so far. I will definitely buy more when I've gone through my current bag.

The price is great, but the patches are too small to use with a Parker-Hale type cleaning jag. These are the right size to use with a .17 caliber Parker-Hale jag. If the description had given the actual patch dimensions, I could have ordered the correct size the first time, but these are only going to work with eye-type jags or wrapped around a bore brush for the calibers labeled on the package and in the item description.

Will not work in 22Cal. weapon. They measure 1" not 3/4 as stated.

Love these patches ! the last patches were pros-shot patches, and I thought they cleaned good, but these picked up all the fouling that they were leaving. I use on all my .22 rifles. they are tight, but work great on my .177 rifles also. these are the only patches I will buy from now on. also work on my .223.

I always like using Southern Bloomer patches and they have always worked for me in the past. This latest bag, however, seem to be bigger than Southern Bloomer .22 patches I've used in the past. I end up having to cut these down just a little to fit down the bore, and I've used multiple jags of different styles just to make sure.
