The Benevolence LA Candles has such a great scent that is suiting for around the house or space.They offer different scents which I have tried - Bergamot & Jasmine, Rose & Sandalwood, Lilac & Rose and love them all.The great thing is that every purchase of this candle results in a donation to Zoe International who provides healing andrestoration to those victimized by human trafficking. It is great for gifts as well.

Simply stunning. As a Santal lover it is sublime.

This candle smells fantastic and burns well. Kinda silly, but I took note of exactly how long the candle burned for during each session, and it came out to 39 hours and about 45 minutes! So it burns for just about 40 hours, as advertised! I plan to get another.

Beautifully packaged, lovely scent. The throw is disappointing and I can only smell it when standing close to the candle. The scent is stronger if not burned.

Like a lot of the general population, I've been buying candles for most of my life, but recently I had been disappointed or underwhelmed a few too many times, and finally decided to do my homework on the best candles on the market, and lo and behold... I found Benevolence LA! It was like an answer to a prayer. Their Jasmine and Bergamot Candle is THE MOST incredible scent I may have ever come across in a candle and the scent holds up! So far I've bought 10 of them and gave them as gifts for Christmas gifts, and I even got my mom into them and she did the same, and they were such a hit. You literally canNOT go wrong. The packaging is gorgeous and they support such a noble and honorable purpose, it just makes you feel better knowing your money is going to a worthy cause. Benevolence LA will always have my full support, and me as a client :) LOVE LOVE LOVE!May 3 2021 (2 years after my original post):I’ve had a subscription for these candles for a while now, and still can’t get enough of them, and everyone I gift them to just loves them as well! Doing a subscription is always a great idea bc it really does save you some money in the long run. Another thing I wanted to mention that I didn’t in my above post is that Benevolence LA also makes some of the most BEAUTIFUL jewelry, and for SUCH great prices~ you wouldn’t even believe it! They are one of my favorite companies, hand down. As part of my job description, I have to plan events for my company, and when we have our Presidents Club every year in Maui, there’s about 150 people that come, and I have to put massive gift bags together for our top contractors and their spouses. So, a few years ago, one of the gifts I did for the ladies was Benevolence jewelry and it was the BIGGEST HIT! By the second night there, at an event I was putting on, all the wives were dawning their new bling, and all women OF ALL AGES, ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERYTHING!! Needless to say, I cannot say enough amazing things about this company! I’ve been a HUGE fan of everything they do for many years, and I hope you guys get on board as well! ☺️🕯💖🙌🏻✨

Wow. Not sure how this brand gets the high reviews. I've purchased several candles and noticed that I didn't pick up on any scent when I had them burning. (I've been going through a period of investigating a lot of different scented candle companies trying to find a solid brand and this is how I stumbled on these) This is the last one I purchased and I just went to light it this morning in our guest bathroom as we are showing the house - might as well have all the candles lit in every room, right? Well I lit and re-lit this candle which has only burned down about 1/4 the way down-- at least 4x and watched the wick just burn out -- It won't hold a light. So I basically have a candle that won't light. This in addition to the previously disappointing ones which had zero discernable scent. I'd strongly recommend against purchasing this brand. I've found others that are far more reliable and with great scent as well.

SOME of these are really great. The rose and sandalwood, and bergamot and jasmine were the scents I tried first and absolutely loved. They weren't aggressive, but filled the room with fragrance. Newer fragrances I just bought, santal and the charcoal, for instance, only smell nice when you've got your nose up in them. The scent is so subtle, you hardly know it's there even after hours of leaving them burning. It's disappointing. Considering how well some of the other scents carried, (and trusting there wasn't some change in the formula that has caused quality to suffer) I'll continue to use them. But be wary, not all of the products here are created equal.
