I bought this for my cat as we are away overnight and couldn't find someone to pop in and feed her. The instructions are vague at best. After an hour of scratching my head and shouting at it I sussed it out. At first I thought you had to set the clock to the current time however it is not that sofisticated. The clock is merely a count down timer. I assumed that you would be able to set 5 different feeding times however you can only set the countdown timer for a set amount of hours, eg 8 hours, it will then rotate to the next bowl after 8 hours and then again after another 8 hours and so on. Am yet to try it in practice yet but it seems to work when I did a dry run. In all it looks sturdy enough for a cat but not sure it would survive the onslaught of a small dog if they tried to get into it.

I like how this product isn’t too large and doesn’t take up to much space when left out. Timer is easy to set and nice how there is a little tune to alert my dog when the timer has finished. The only slight improvement is that it doesn’t show you how to take the cover off to add the food. Overall I believe this so the best automatic dog feeder available and would buy again if needed.

The item is easy to use, but difficult to clean. However, battery life is shorter than expected and the battery box is underneath the unit so has to be emptied completely before they can be changed.

Wish you could programme different hour setting as you can only select one amount of hours. So your cat would either be fed too often or too long between setting. My cat hasn't used it yet I think the alarm should be a bit louder
