Would NOT order these again. The stamps I received not come with any markings (unlike the Amazon photos where the letters are etched on the pin) -- so it's difficult to see which letter is being selected (without looking at the bottom) as well as the orientation for final placement.Where are they made?! The outside packaging wrapping them all up clearly says "Made in China" yet the blue box that holds them is stamped South Korea.

I needed a set smaller than my 3/16 and larger than 1/8. After pricing the two USA made names in metal stamps I decided to take a chance on these. I just stamped the entire alphabet around five steel (1018) cylinders - 130 perfect stamps. The last letter came out as clean as the first - not a reject or off-centered letter in the bunch. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

There are other sets available on Amazon. I purchased this set as it seemed to portray a higher quality, better set. Certainly the cost is higher.The product is indeed a higher quality set. The metal is hardened steel and the punch quality is very clear. If you are looking for a good set particularly for metal punching, consider this one.

Used this kit to stamp id numbers onto brass tags. I’ve stamped around 50 tags so far with the same 3 letters and a number and the letters show no sign of wear. Great kit, container is nice and seems durable. Great value. Just make sure you use a solid background. People who have complained about tags ending up warped or letters being unclear just don’t know what they are doing.

You have to hit him very hard and they’re very fine printDon’t go off of their stamping on the outside because they’re backwards and better Know which way the letter should be before stamping I thought stamping should all be on the same side And have a big ass hammer

After using in a shop environment for a few months, I can say that these stamps are not of the same quality of anything purchased 10-15 years ago.That said, the price is good, and these will serve my purposes for a few years.I will be purchasing a second set, as high quality stamps are hard to come by.Update: price has tripled in a few months, I guess I won’t be buying more!

Quite difficult to get a decent mark on stainless steel with these, even with a heavy 3lb hammer. Hitting it multiple times usually resulted in misaligned stamps. Hopefully I can figure it some way to hold things in place so I can make a single mark with multiple hits.

Well made sturdy item. The containers are handy, one for letters & a smaller one with numbers. Quite heavy and solid. Very pleased with this. It’s going to be a Christmas gift for my daughter.👍

used on thin shoft metal , sharp image stamping . Have not tried on sheet steel to know hardness .
