Our son was 42” tall and 45#, and we got the small (S) 4 months ago. It fit perfectly back then, and now that he’s 46” tall and 50# it’s tight, but he still wears it all day at the beach/lake.Our dauhhter was 46” tall and 40#, and we got the medium (M) 4 months ago. It fit a little loose back then, and now that she’s 49” tall and 44# and it fits her perfectly. She wears it all day at the beach/lake.Daughter’s is in really good shape, still looks pretty new after many wears. Our son is really hard on clothes, plays on rocks, sand, logs, etc. His wetsuit looks pretty used, but still does the job. We will be buying a large (L) for our daughter and passing her medium (M) onto our son to destroy next year.I highly recommend these wet suits.

My 7 year old loves his wetsuit. He was never a fan of swim class. A large part of his displeasure was because he would get so cold in the pool. He's always happy to jump in now with his wetsuit on. And it gives him some float while still letting him practice his strokes. I can't recommend this enough.
