Don’t be alarmed by the green color—it fades within seconds of application and immediately counteracts redness. Over 6+ weeks, it’s also reduced my inflammation and improved my skin’s texture and tone. It’s lightweight, moisturizing, not greasy, and doesn’t irritate my rosacea or trigger breakouts. I use it as a moisturizer and as a base layer before applying tinted sunscreen. I hope Amazon will start selling it soon!CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 (Sheer Tinted)This blends beautifully and has zero orange cast. It layers over the green EltaMD UV Skin Recovery perfectly with no clumping or pilling. No smell, no transfer, and it gives a smooth, sheer tint that has buildable coverage. I use this as my primary tinted SPF.EltaMD UV AOX Elements (Tinted)I still use this—but now as a light bronzer. I layer a small amount under or over the CeraVe for a touch of warmth without letting the orange tone take over. I tried the EltaMD UV Daily, and it is more moisturizing but has a VERY orange cast! I won’t go without the green UV Skin Recovery now. It’s that good.

My dermatologist recommended me to start using a tinted moisturizer with SPF and gave me a list of his favorite brands. My challenge was finding one from his list that had a high enough SPF (more than 40 SPF) but still a “clean ingredient” product. Not all of Elta MD’s facial sunscreen passed the EWG skin deep test, but THIS specific one was on the low scale of toxic ingredients and it had great reviews. I bought it and applied it to my face the morning I received it. It’s a wonderful product, giving me the SPF that I need while still covering a few of my sunspot blemishes. There’s no bad smell and it doesn’t smell like sunscreen. The product blends super easy into your skin and I dare say that my skin looks pretty good lately. The product feels super light on your face, so it’s definitely not a foundation like the Ilia Skin Tint I was leaning towards. I have added this to my subscribe & save on Amazon because I love it that much! Highly recommend!

My favorite face sunblock!! It was recommended by my dermatologist AND my gynecologist who sells skin care products. It's tinted so sometimes I just mix it with my moisturizer in the morning and put powder on top to reduce shine. Works great and doesn't turn your face a weird color. 10/10

The best sunscreen in the whole world, changes your face completely, also is soft and helps treating brown spots. I love it, I always buy this one.

This does offer great sun protection, but they changed the formula within the last year or so and the changes haven’t been great. It feels he’s over on my skin now and has more of an orange tint when it oxidizes then it did before. Please bring back the old formula.
