Well made, hand painted owls are seriously cute. My daughter was enchanted by them. Typical Japanese tea cups with no handles, so understand that they do get hot!Kotobuki's ceramics are consistently high quality.

My husband and I originally saw this set at the Japanese Gardens gift shop in San Francisco, so we knew what to expect. He ended up ordering the blue set as a gift for someone. They are high quality, sturdy but delicate, and have a slight rustic/retro look to them--not too kitschy, and definitely not cheap-looking. They were packed in a cute compartmentalized green gift box with extra newspaper wrapping to protect the breakable contents. Fast shipping and excellent condition--thanks!
